Rendezvous Pub — Restaurant in Edmonton

Been here a couple of time for their STOMP goth nights. The bartender usually comes up and greets us and asks if they can get anything for us. Granted we are usually some of the first people there, so i can't say they do this with everyone. But either way, great service. They seem to run outta things at odd times, they didn't have orange juice once, and one of the tenders didn't know what a Shirley Temple was, which i found a lil weird, but go off i suppose. Not necessarily a bad atmosphere, solid stoney plan road pub vibe, but very welcoming during their goth nights at least. Reasonably priced drinks, i didn't see any significant vegan options, but there are at least deep fried things like fries and onion ring (? The nights are usually pretty blurred, but I'm pretty sure we had onion rings at some point). There is no accessible entrance or ramp. But the curbs are relatively short at the far...

It was just this past Monday June 12th and it was 30C outside. I found myself working very hard all day and still in a spot that evening where I had to find my own my way across town.

This is most certainly due to a lack of money in my pocket.

About a mile away I thought of Rendezvous Pub that I had been to once or maybe twice before. I remembered it being a very friendly and welcoming place, maybe even a place where even if I looked like I had no intention of being a paying customer right now, they would probably give me an iced water if I asked.

Sure enough, I was correct. The man working behind the bar was amazingly so prompt in refilling me twice quickly that I felt like a priority and even though all I had were sincere gratitude to show my appreciation, he made me feel like that was more than enough.
