I was originally going to go throught the A & W drive thru, but saw Busters Pizza and decided that I would like a donair instead. I've been eating at various busters locations for appx 8 years but I wouldn't recommend this one. I went inside to order at about 3:30 pm, I was the only customer in line. There wasn't an employee in sight (there was a woman sitting at a table around the corner near the bathrooms who might been an employee on her break, I'm not sure). When the woman on shift finally came from around the wall at the very back of the restaurant she looked at me but didn't acknowledge me, proceeded to grab some paper towel then walked back behind the wall again. Shortly thereafter she came back around again, looked at me again, didn't acknowledge me again and pulled some more paper towel and went back around the wall... again. I worked at a McDonalds when I was a teenager, I bartender and served into my twenties and then worked as a salesman until my early 30's and the number one thing is to acknowledge people very quickly once they arrive even if you can't help them out immediately. I waited longer than I probably should have before I left and went through the A & W drive thru as I had originally planned. All it would've taken was an "I will be with you shortly" or an "im sorry I spilled something and need to clean it up, just give a minute please" or a "hello be right with you" and I probably would've waited. I even would have understood if it was very busy and she was in the middle of making someone's food, but again I was the only customer in the restaurant. It seems like a pretty reasonable request to acknowledge customers, but an incredibly unreasonable reason to...
Read moreTerrible experience. I ordered a cheese pizza and large cookie. The cookie was burnt all around the edges and inedible. I couldn’t even eat the pizza since I am vegetarian and didn’t realize that there was pepperoni on the pizza until I took a bite, since it was under the cheese. I had to throw both the pizza AND the cookie away. I called and talked to the lady who helped me at the drive thru window and punched my order in wrong (a pepperoni instead of a cheese pizza) and she said she made a mistake and would make me a new pizza.... but I live on the exact other side of the city and was already home. I was only in that area to drop something off. I asked for a coupon or something to use next time but she said no. I asked to speak with a manager.. she took my number and said a manager would call me.... but no call was ever made to me. I would have given them another chance forsure but with this lack of care and zero concern for their customers, I can’t say I will waste any more money here. I literally just threw away my money by ordering yesterday and I wasn’t able to eat anything they gave me. I wasn’t even asking for a refund, just a coupon for...
Read moreI'm not certain how this location manages a 4.4 star rating. I've had 4 sub par experieces. When it opened we waited 45 minutes in the store for out order. Fair enough as it was their first week. Ordered online and the donairs once picked up had the wrong ingredients and the pitas we cold Two weeks ago I ordered online and asked for the $4 delivery as we work just down the street. The delivery was over an hour so I called and the driver hasn't even picked up yet. I told them to keep the order as I had been starving and then had to leave work Ordered a donair through the app today. The pita was cold, the donair artist had already COVERED the donair in sauce and the meat was thin and not very plentiful.
I have to say that I've given the restaurant every opportunity. I don't know if I've ever seen the owner there and the employees are running around without direction and confused leading to mass innefficiency and longer than required waiting times. I would have expected more from a chain restaurant. This just isn't going to be on my daily lunch...
