I got take out from this place last night dinner for one, dry ribs ok, mush for brown rice, beef and greens the veggies were caked in oil and left an oily film in my mouth. Very little beef. As well as egg roll that was over cooked. Would not recommend this place..

Food Quality: The major drawback of my visit was the excessive greasiness of the dishes. The deep-fried items were notably dark brown, indicating the use of aged oil, which affected the taste and overall appeal.

I just ordered food through the Uber Eats app. It was $42 cad. It was disgusting! The noodles weren't cooked properly and were only instant. The rice wasn't fresh and was reheated. Don't order food here.

After living in Edmonton for so long and practically trying all the OG Chinese restaurants and the new ones, I find that I always come back to this restaurant because of the following reasons:

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE: It does not matter what time I go, they always answer the phone happily and have positive demeanors. Whenever I ask for suggestions on what I should try, they happily provide suggestions without making me feel like a nuisance. FOOD IS QUICK! I’m always shocked how they can get the orders done so quick. And if they are super busy (especially during the holidays) they give you an estimation of how long it’ll take (which are often pretty accurate estimation). FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS. I’ve seen some reviews below that food are too soggy, burnt or bland? I don’t know if those are true reviews or just a bunch of Karen’s, but I’ve been going here for more than 5 years and have always been given good quality tasting food. My top top favourite items on their menu are the chicken wings, special fried rice, peach yum yum shrimps, assorted seafood and mixed green (crispy is soooo good) and all of their chow mein! Those would be most frequent item choice. FOOD IS CHEAPEST compared to other places in Edmonton. If there are other places that runs cheaper, I’d love to know because I want to save money too, but for the speed of their food here, the quality and the delicious taste which is always consistent, the price just fits into my budget as well. They take cash, debit or credit cards which is a relief since other restaurants take cash sometimes.

CONS There’s quite a lot of solicitors by the store next to them who sometimes stand very close to your car and not do anything. Parking is small so beware of car getting hit by poor Edmontonian drivers Wish there was dine in during the pandemic, but its only pick up and delivery.

I’ve finally decided to leave a review after all these years because I wanted to see how the google reviews are and after reading them, I’m shocked by some of the reviews because I’ve never had a poor experience with these people. Of course you don’t have to choose to believe the reviews but I personally feel some people are over exaggerating their experience because one small thing didn’t go their way or they had a minor human error of mixing up an order. If you had a problem and talk to them, I’m sure they would happily resolve it with you based on my experience with them. If you find yourself coming across this restaurant, be sure to try it out. As someone has said previously here, this seriously is a little gold mine...

Ordered the 4 dish deal fro $38.95 as the individual dish prices are way too expensive. Take out was ready in 10 minutes which is first warning of what I should expect. I found the options for this package deal very limiting. I ordered my food without MSG (obvious reason) and no fish sauce as I find most Asian dishes have way too much & isn't needed in most. Knife skills lacked as veggies came in uneven various sizes, visually unappealing and cooked unevenly. Onions were mush. Honey garlic pork had no flavor, tough and smelled weird. Chow mein no flavour, greasy and include four strips of bland chicken. Special Egg Foo Yung had no description as to what was in it & included shrimp which presented a problem for me. The gravy tasted like burnt coffee.

Way over priced. Absolutely no flavor. Fresh garlic & oyster sauce would have gone a long way. Won't eat...

Great food! My husband and I were at China Village for the first time today to dine in and we received delicious food and exceptional service from their friendly staff. The restaurant is great, however, I am baffled by this van that was for sale that decided to park horizontally and took up three whole parking spots. My husband is handicapped and couldn't even get out with the van beside us. As I was waiting in line to pay the bill, I overheard a conversation regarding the removal of that same van. The owner of that van said he would not remove it off the premises even though it was a private property so he retaliated by saying that he will post multiple negative reviews about this restaurant. I just find that this is such a repulsive act to do! No business should suffer because of an immature revenge...
