New Way Liquor — Restaurant in Edmonton

Staff was really nice - over the phone and the delivery driver as well. Price was really good too! But the Donair pizza was... Not good. The meat didn't really have any taste and there was no pizza sauce? Not white sauce or red sauce or anything, just dough with toppings and cheese. Which to me seems like a requirement for pizza? It came with Donair sauce on the side, but that couldn't salvage it. Maybe I just ordered poorly, but it would have been nice to know I was ordering a pizza with no sauce on it. The breadsticks were undercooked as well. I couldn't even finish the pizza. Was hoping I'd found my new regular spot to order from, but apparently not, unfortunately. Really wanted to like this place too. They have a really bold and creative menu but I don't think I could justify ordering from here...

This was an unexpected treasure. I passed New Way Pizza regularly on my way to and from work. I never stopped in - maybe because it doesn't look like much from the outside. Eventually we decided to try it on a whim based on some positive reviews that were popping up. It was excellent. The menu is unique and the pizzas are fantastic.

Now I have eaten my way through most of the menu and I can say my favourites are the Mr. Potato Head and the Thai Chicken. If those names don't intrigue you enough to check out New Way, then you are already too far gone. The price for two large pizzas is incredibly low. New way pizza is absolutely amazing they're very friendly and always quick the pizza comes steaming hot 👏 and super tasty also if you want a little treat after your pizza I recommend the new York cheesecake 😍 so delicious, they deserve a best pizza in Edmonton award and they are super affordable! I give 1000 stars! I will say tho if theyd like to maximize the taste of their Donair pizza I recommend cutting the onions and tomatoes Into smaller pieces ❤️ I'm from the east coast so I'm not used to these big pieces 😂 but it was definitely top...
