I had a very disappointing experience at Cinzio Bakery in Londonderry Mall on December 10, 2024, at 5:15 PM. I purchased a cinnamon bun with extra icing on the side, which came in a box. While the cashier was packing my order, he should have asked if I needed a bag, especially since it was snowing outside. Carrying the box and the tub of icing without a bag was awkward, as the icing kept sliding around.
After the transaction, realizing how difficult it would be to carry everything in the snow, I politely asked for a bag. The cashier told me it would cost 25 cents, which is understandable. However, when I playfully asked if he could let it go this time, his response was shockingly rude: "That's not my problem."
It wasn’t about the 25 cents, it was about the lack of courtesy and consideration. A simple act of kindness or a polite explanation would have made all the difference. Instead, I had to pay again by Visa just for a 25-cent bag. When I pointed out his rudeness, he dismissively replied, "Well, that's your opinion." There was no apology or acknowledgment of my concern, leaving me frustrated and unwelcome.
Good customer service means being thoughtful and respectful. Given the weather and the nature of my order, he should have asked if I wanted a bag while he was packing the items. That simple step would have prevented the entire situation.
I will not be returning to this bakery, and I would caution others about the poor service here. There are plenty of places that treat their customers with respect — this one,...
Read moreI’d give Cinnzeo Bakery 4 out of 5 stars. Their cinnamon rolls are definitely the highlight—freshly baked, soft, and loaded with just the right amount of sweet, gooey cinnamon filling. The cream cheese frosting on top is rich and smooth without being overwhelming, making each bite super satisfying.
The quality is consistently good, and you can often smell the cinnamon aroma before you even reach the counter, which adds to the whole experience. They also offer mini rolls and other pastries, which are great options if you want something smaller or a bit of variety.
Customer service is generally friendly and efficient, though wait times can be a little long during busy periods, especially in mall locations. Prices are on the higher side for baked goods, but the portion sizes and flavor usually justify the cost.
If there’s one downside, it’s that the rolls can feel a bit too sweet or heavy for some people, especially if you're not a big fan of sugary treats. But for anyone with a sweet tooth, it hits the spot.
Overall, Cinnzeo is a great place for a warm, indulgent treat. It’s not something I’d have every day, but when you’re in the mood for a rich, comforting cinnamon roll, it’s...
Read moreVery pricey for what you get. Quality is mediocre. Nothing too special that justifies the crazy prices they charge for some dough that’s sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Place was clean but it’s also new. As for service, the two young ladies at the counter acknowledged us immediately but we were still deciding what we wanted so we asked to have a few minutes to decide. Then a guy in a jack (owner/manager?) came behind the counter to do something. Then for whatever reason thought he would bud in and give us his two cents on what he recommends we get. I usually don’t like opinions I did not ask for. And the fact he was wearing an outside winter jack around where food was prepped was unprofessional in my opinion. And based on the brief observation of this guy and his interaction with the two young ladies there I probably would not be working there if I was them. If he is the owner/manager, he comes across very aggressive and seemed to be talking down to the two young ladies as if they were dumb. For the sake of those two employees I just hope he was having a bad/off day and this is not his attitude every day. Probably will not be going back as prices...
