D Spot Desserts Manning Town Centre location is the spot to be at! Their menu is vast with so many mouthwatering desserts and savoury food items. As for their interior it is nicely bright, clean, and aesthetically appealing look. From the colours of the walls to the chairs and lighting.
Their Avocado Brie burger and is everything you never knew your mouth needed and more! Highly recommend. Packed with unique flavours and crunch. I loved how juicy the patty was. It was a great portion size for the price.
The desserts were an unforgettable treat. They look too good to eat, but when you eat them it’s like love at first sight in your mouth. Everything was on point from the presentation to taste. The portions are generous so if you have a sweet tooth devour their desserts yourself, but it is worth sharing as I ended up sharing with my aunt. We enjoyed the Cookielicious which is a part of their Signature Belgian Waffle selection. Every part of the dish was a star. The waffles were soft and lightly sweet. The brownie chunks were delicious and rich. The cookie had great texture with a satisfying chocolate filling inside while the ice cream on top of the cookie has a lovely caramel taste. The small chocolate with the restaurants name on it is a cute touch to the dish.
I got some of their cake slices to go too which tasted too good I forgot to take a photo! Their Tiramisu Cheesecake was so good you’ll be wanting more. I love that it came with chocolate sauce with complimented the dish even more. I also got their Milk Cake in the Lotus cookie flavour which was such a unique experience. The flavours are so unique you’ll have to try it to understand. So good!
What made my first dine in experience special with my aunt was the service we received from our server Garry. He was a star! His kindness, smile, friendliness, attentiveness, patience, and knowledge of the menu made a beautiful difference to our stay. He knows how to make customers feel welcomed and valued.
Looking forward to more dine in experiences and exploring more desserts at D Spot Desserts in Manning Town Centre!
Back again for the second time for desserts with friends, Muskan’s service was great and she paid special attention to my one friend’s nut allergy which I greatly appreciated.
Cheers Garry, Muskan and the rest of staff at D Spot Desserts in Manning Town Centre ❤️
March 1/25 back again at D Spot! I won a giveaway for their free Creamy Dreamy Mango waffle. It was my first time trying this waffle. The waffle itself is soft and delicious. The portion of the mango ice cream was generous. Great beautiful presentation as a whole dessert overall. My parents got the Buttermilk pancakes and a Croffle in the flavour My Treat. I sampled a part of my mom’s croffle and it is like winning the lottery in your mouth. It tasted so good and had that nice crispiness of a croissant and inspired look of a waffle. I think we were served by Sukh and she was very kind throughout service. Hospitable and accommodating to my mom’s change up of her order when my mom changed her mind on what she wanted. I appreciated that Sukh let us sit anywhere we wanted. The restaurant clean and comforting. Cheers as always to D Spot Desserts Manning...
Read moreThis was my first time at any of these locations, and I was extremely disappointed. I had a lotus cookie butter cheesecake milkshake and a "warm and loving" waffle. The milkshake was decent, but the waffle was awful. At no fault of the chef, the waffle was well cooked, however the "apple pie filling" topper was tasteless, there was no seasoning in the apples, they had no flavor at all, and with the amount that was put on it, really brought down the flavor of the dish. It was also topped with canned whipped cream that they had sitting out on the top of their counter. It was sitting up there for the hour and a half we were there, so I can only assume it had been there for a while. Definitely not okay for that kind of product. It was also disappointing that they use canned whipped cream at a dessert spot.
Secondly and most disappointing was the service. The 2 servers on shift were very inattentive. We were 1 of 2 customers there, and waited an indecent amount of time for them to take our order. Once our food was ready, we stared at it for a few minutes while they chit chatted behind the till before they brought it over. This happened with our drinks as well. They did not come check on us after they brought us our food, and we waited quite a while after we were done before she brought the bill. After we paid, she asked if we could do her a favor, she told us that she was by herself yesterday and a customer had left her a bad review so she asked if we could write a good one to help her "cover it up". Extremely unprofessional in my opinion, especially after the lack of service we were given. We had also overheard her helping another customer, who was sampling some ice cream that she didn't want to let him try a certain kind because she didn't want to waste it.
An extremely disappointing experience after hearing such good things, it was definitely not worth the...
Read moreI visited this charming dessert café a few days ago. The space is clean, well-lit, and beautifully designed—the colors and interior décor are absolutely delightful. Both the food and service were great.
The dessert was incredibly photogenic, and the ambiance felt warm and friendly. A lady named Sukh (or Suky?) was especially accommodating while serving our food and drinks.
I honestly have no complaints—though I do want to share a small, unexpected twist to the experience (which wasn’t the café’s fault at all). I had invited my mum out for dessert and we ended up at this only dessert-focused café in the neighborhood. I thought she would join me in ordering a slice of cake, but instead, she impulsively chose the fried chicken wings—which she usually avoids for health reasons.
I hadn’t had deep-fried chicken, especially wings in a long time. They were served with thick-cut fries, and both the garlic honey wings and the fries were incredibly tasty—10/10. I also loved my cake: sweet, delicious, and generously portioned.
However, when I got back to the car and looked in the mirror, I noticed a fine line had appeared under one of my eyes—something I hadn’t seen that morning (or ever before). Technically, I gained a new wrinkle right after indulging in a combination of fried chicken, fries, and cake.
So while I absolutely recommend this café for its dessert, meals, snacks, service, and interior—everything is truly wonderful—those who are overly conscious about their skin health might not want to, or think twice before indulging all at once.
The café itself is excellent in every possible way: clean, stylish, flavorful,...
