TacoTime — Restaurant in Edmonton

This is twice now that something has happened here. I has such good reviews so I don't know if they just don't like me or I come at the worst time. I needed a second to order witch seemed fine but then when i went to order the guy started rushing me and bot listening . Like if youre busy tell me to wait I can handle waiting i can't handle being rushed. I tried to ask questions and idk if he barely speak English or just has something against me because I had to repeat myself and needed to keep asking and he kept mumbling or talking quite. He then severed me super cold tater tots (Mexican fries) . The girl working here was supervise and seems so good at her job she fixed it right away. But the guy was mentally checked out like he was high or something . He moves slower than a snail and was barely doing anything the girl was literally doing circles around him. I also heard him talk to costumers that came in after I was already eating and he was much louder and seemed to understand English more so idk what's going on all I know is I'm not happy . I came back even after having just as bad time last time giving them a second chance but it's still just as bad . I think I might be done coming here and I will tell people to be carefully coming and suggest other places because at this point the guy has made this place terrible. Twice months apart is no longer a coincidence . They food is good the girl was amazing but the guy is literally ruining the place . I'm not happy and I know they guy was the problem. I'm getting tired of the lack of care for the food they ship out through skipthedishes. I just received an order of chicken taco's, and again I couldn't even eat them from this location. I have always liked chicken soft taco's from taco time but every time I order them from this location, they send absolute trash. As I was biting into the first chicken taco, I felt things being crunched by my teeth, which should never happen using soft tacos with soft chicken meat. Every bite there was more and more crunching and it started to feel gross so I opened it up, all the chicken was hard and stale. As if they had let cooked chicken sit out for a couple days and then just crammed it into some tacos to get it over with and send the delivery guy n his way.

They take advantage of the customer not being there to witness this, because it only happens when the food is ordered through a courier service. I couldn't even eat the taco's I ordered. The staff here doesn't take the time to make things properly and don't take pride in what they're delivering. I wouldn't order from here until you hear of some kind of new management or new owner. An owner should have a trusted manager that handles quality control to ensure their workers are using proper technique's and serving good quality food, not just carelessly serving trash and making the entire franchise look bad. Its bad enough that we have to worry about the courier's sitting in their cars, not moving when our orders are ready, we shouldn't have to also worry that restaurants have lazy, useless staff who will happily serve expired and old, stale food to paying customers. would not recommend...

The lady taking my order was nice and polite But she cannot hardly understand English I asked for the beef and cheese burrito combo with sour cream added that was fine I also asked for an extra order of large mexi fries and she did not know what I meant I said it a few different ways so she might understand but it was frustrating She finally said something I could hardly understand about extra mexi fries and I just agreed and paid She asked about hot sauce and I said yes She gave me the order and I looked and no hot Sauce …I asked her for some and left I was traveling and didn’t open the food up until ten minutes later I pulled over and could not believe it I counted exactly 20 mexi fries …like that would hardly make a small mexi fry I poured them all into the one container for the mexi fries and it hardly filled it up I started to eat the burrito and it tasted nasty extremely nasty I opened it up and no cheese and almost no sour cream I took a few more bites and threw it away It was inedible I am a taco time long time customer so I know what it is supposed to taste like 21 bucks for that crap Never going back to...
