It was absolutely delightful being able to visit Blaze Pizza, the Manning Crossing location. For me, this location is the OG, one of the first ones in Edmonton and to this day they have been consistently upholding a high standard for all blaze pizza restaurants in Edmonton.

So I went with build your own pizza and wow, it turned out incredible! The ovalini mozzarella is always perfectly melted, and the pizza perfectly cooked. Their regular tomato sauce, it’s savory, it’s got the right about of acidity! It just comes together so nicely with sea salt and oregano! They use very fresh ingredients. Such a Wonderful balance of flavors. Simply amazing!

The restaurant itself is huge lots of spaces and plenty of seating so you can have a big group of friends come and just hang out and eat the delicious pizza. They have build your own pizzas, they have salad they have cheesy garlic, bread, garlic, knots, warm, fresh brownies and s’mores as well as a great assortment of drinks!

The stuff is super friendly and the always ask. “Is it your first time here?”. They obviously want to make sure that you have a wonderful experience and the guide you every single of the way even though this concept has been here for a long time, they still make sure to accommodate everybody as best as they can.

I highly recommend building your own because it’s so much fun and you absolutely get your moneys worth! Now here’s a pro tip if you are going to load your pizza up, get a high rice, pizza crust and get one of the biggest and most flavorful pizzas in your entire life.

I do love the blaze pizza, love that you can get what you want on a pizza, and really love that the pizza is cooked in a big fire oven. Love the dough that they make, when cooked with fire, it always makes the crust so perfect, crispy and has that satisfying chew. The staff are always really friendly and helpful as well!

Thanks for having me even though some weird customer ruined my visit but regardless, I appreciate the staff being professional and not making it more awkward for everyone else. Wonderful place and delicious pizza 🍕

The food here is always good however I find it a hectic to order and pick up your food. There is usually a line up. The employees had a hard time hearing our order and got it wrong. I had to correct her twice. When I asked if there was a cheese pizza on the menu for my young child, she said no. I looked at the menu again and noticed yes they do! I would come here more often if there was a kids menu! You're left buying an adult sized cheese pizza for a child at $10.50. I saw a family bring in a McDonald's happy meal for their child which makes sense now. I find the atmosphere stressful and loud. People are waiting to hear their name yelled out. The flow is not set up well and everyone accumulates at the end to wait for orders. The debit machine doesn't accept tap payments. The cashier didn't mention it so I thought I paid then walked away (it's too loud to hear if it beeps). I was waved over a bit later and asked to pay again but the employee had forgotten to include one pizza in my order so it ended up being a higher total than the first time. I hope the amount was right. At that point I wanted to leave as it had already been a challenge to get 2 pizzas . The employees are all very friendly but could be more proactive or helpful. It's always a bit cold inside this location with full AC on. Go at off times when it's not dinner or lunch to have a better experience. Again food is a tasty 4. Everything else was...

I came in with a real hunger for a Blaze Pizza, "build your own",style ! So they start with the dough then the sauce followed by the cheese. ...Which I love a lot of....However, the server was ,"Really,Really",holding back on putting the mozzarella cheese on my pizza...You could count how many shredded piece were on it .....I then asked it she could put more on please and it seemed like it was a strain to do this....She reluctantly added like 12 shredded pieces more....I'm still surprised by this ...Anyhow,then we did the meat ,veggies and then I asked her to put more mozzarella on top of my finished pizza....Well,that was when she told me I can't put too much cheese on your pizza cause we're waiting for our cheese delivery. ....Well,I never experienced the likes of this in my life....Pizza and cheese are to hand in glove....Never been told I can't give you cheese because of whatever.....Not impressed! The cheese containers were full and many people came in behind me....If your low on Mozzarella go to Sobeys and get what yoh need....You never refuse your Customers wants,unless it's a completely ridiculous request!
