This was my first experience at noodle noodle on 170th Street in Edmonton. I ordered the ginger beef and asked for it to be on rice noodles instead of just rice. My first bite of Ginger Beef was very salty but the texture was nice. So I tried a second piece of Ginger Beef and found it too very salty and also sinewy. I tasted the sauce on its own and it was fine, so it is the beef itself that was over salted and unpalatable. Next, I tried some of the noodles and it came up in one big starchy clump. I also ordered green onion cakes which were quite tasty with a nice crisp exterior and soft interior, although a touch doughy near the center. So, I was not very impressed and my first experience at Oodle Noodle may be my last.

Was he Ben and I had the war wonton soup. Beautiful nice big shrimp and chicken and noodles and carrots and broccoli broth is quite nice also. And they had a little thing there for the spring rolls for six for two dollars. They have the best spring rolls in the city I don’t know how long this is gonna last but

This is an efficient Oodle Noodle. Depending on who is taking your order, typically there is no conversation other than the transaction itself. The food is quite standard across all Oodle Noodle locations. Place is clean, with plenty of parking.

I feel morally obligated to leave this review and warn others of how I was made to feel when visiting here. When my fiancĂ© and I went in we were completely ignored by the chef (and only staff member present), not so much as a “one moment please” or even acknowledgement of our presence. I have to add that I am currently visibly pregnant and I desperately needed to use the facilities. After a while of standing at the counter and being ignored my fiancĂ© tried to get the man’s attention, who continued to ignore us. At this point I was visibly distressed to my partner so he again tried to get his attention, louder this time. The man asked why he was being loud, then turned around and continued to ignore us. We eventually just left the establishment and went somewhere else...

I went on a Sunday afternoon. My first time at this location. I went here at the recommendation of my brother. I ordered the Jungle Noodle Cambogee. Sizeable meal, but I found it bland. The curry sauce was very runny and not thicker like it should be. Meh, I tasted curry better than this. They give a lot of vegetables, but they’re uncooked and very hard to bite into (e.g., the broccoli and carrot pieces). And a lot of raw bean sprouts on top. Yeech. Not tasty at all. It wasn’t busy, so I don’t know why the food was so mediocre. Maybe it was a different cook from the one my...
