Hillview Pub & Woodvale Pizza — Restaurant in Edmonton

$45 got us 2 large pizza’s with 2 order of wings. Not many places you can get away with that now a day. Heck, McDonald’s (it’s absolutely garbage food) is more expensive to feed as many people as we just did stopping here.

This place is a really great place, both on the restaurant and on the pub sides of things. The restaurant has the cheapest, best tasting food that I know of as of yet. The pizza is super, super amazing!! Completely made from scratch and they aren't skimpy on the toppings. The poutine's are almost always to die for with tonnes of cheese and gravy and made hot and quick when you order. The pub side has the sort of charm you would expect from a small town or tight knit community. Overall, great food, great staff, I recommend checking this place out if you get a chance! I kept seeing people in the Mill Woods Community Group recommending this place (Woodvale Pizza) so I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely the best non-chain, hole-in-the-wall pizza I've ever had in Edmonton! The prices are very good, beyond reasonable, and the pizza is delicious. I've had it 3x now and it's been very consistent and great every time. The last time, I tried the deep fried pickles (pictured) as well which were also delicious and an unbeatable value for only $6.50! The food has always been ready for pick up right when I get there.
