We were just browsing some Coffee places other than usual. Came across this evening about Koffee Cafe. After visiting found out its the typical Indian Chai/Coffee place. Well we went as family with kids. Everybody was satisfied with their drinks and food. Wanna say that Indian style coffee was amazing and I am sure we will visit few more times to try out other drinks and food. Veggie Grilled Sandwich were amazing.
This place has a charm a different vibe. Its like one go to go place where they try to accommodate you at their best especially being kids has their own choices in terms of what to put in sandwich. The most of the Indian snack they serve aren't frozen and they make though the girl was being honest they don't make everyday or fresh right away but stuff is cooked by them and samosas were yummy and filling.
The service was a bit slow but we literally visited right before closing and I believe the girl who served was still very kind and helpful deciding order when our son couldn't decide what to eat. Sorry dint catch up the name for the girl.
A few things which might add up but it completely depends person to person. There's only one corner in the cafe had couches which can surely be added more by reducing couple tables. We went as a family so also had our 2 months old daughter with us but we dint find the diaper changing station in the washroom.
Other than that I must say its the super awesome place to go and try pretty diverse menu options. Would surely visit one day only...
Read moreBeing that it’s nice and close to the Grey Nuns hospital and I needed something to eat while waiting for a friend, I did a google search and found this little place. It’s welcoming enough and keeps the eye very busy as it also operates as a convenience store of sorts, selling lottery and tobacco products, gifts and the like. They do boast a rather large menu with a mix of Indian items as well as breakfasts and sandwiches. In addition, their coffee/tea menu puts the Remedy Cafe to shame. I ordered a breakfast of bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and toast with a plain old dark roast coffee. My only disappointment of the meal was the hashbrowns...rather than real potatoes, they serve frozen hash brown patties. This would have been okay if they were actually cooked to be crisp on the outside and hot in the middle! The ones I received were likely microwaved as they were soft and fell apart. All in all, you got decent value for your money but it’s certainly not a place that I would revisit any time soon. I would probably go to the neighbouring franchise, Ricky’s,...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at Koffee Cafe. I ordered a ginger tea, which had no proper taste and was honestly undrinkable. When I politely asked for a refund, instead of handling the situation professionally, they just reheated and boiled the same tea and gave it back to me.
When I refused again and requested a refund, the manager was shockingly rude and disrespectful. She threw my coins on the table instead of handing them back properly. I’ve never seen such unprofessional and poor customer service. The attitude and behavior, especially from the manager, were completely unacceptable.
Definitely not returning. I hope they take this feedback seriously and learn how to treat customers with...
