Experience with this company is not so great Lee Gardens is the only place that I can order Chinese food without extra MSG I've ordered from these guys for years recently in the last three years I've been ordering from the West End location time that I have ordered I've had staff show up to my door when I've asked to paper cash they have not had cash on them recently I order Chinese food Not only was it an hour late the food was cold and the gentleman didn't have cash. When I called back to complain I spoke with the manager name met this very frustrating lady doesn't really listen spits out more than she actually listens and provides customer service she is really horrible at her job basically I expressed my dislike for the behaviour and the attitude and the timing of my food from the driver and the fact that it was cold was really a Topper she said that you know he's new to the country and now he's going to be fired and it's my fault problem number one number two we agreed to 50% off the order because of their screw up go to order a second time she offers 15% and says that that's what she said the whole time I made it very clear to speak to the manager Ryan who is passed me back off to Mavis and basically pacified me after charging me to service charges for delivery and again my food was not very warm so what kind of company is this when you ask to speak to a manager and he passes you off to the woman that does nothing but frustrate you when you're trying to have a conversation because she doesn't get no concept of customer service if they pulled up my records I have been ordering from Leaf Gardens for well over 20 years I don't appreciate the disrespect and I don't appreciate the fact that the manager can not call me back to deal with the situation I highly recommend that maybe you think twice about ordering from the company even though the food is really great the customer service in the West End is absolutely atrocious and barbaric dealing with Mavis the manager so I'm hoping this gets to Ryan and I really hope that Ryan or the owner of Lee Gardens actually gets back to me to discuss the matter at hand that would be proper customer service and very much appreciated everything I keep calling about is falling on deaf ears so maybe I'll get my point across today. My name is Ann Weaver you got my...
Read moreThis place is been around this neighbourhood for over 25 years unfortunately the place has not grown with the community with the demands and good example is over Christmas trying to get an order placed through them was just a nightmare I really like the place same time had dinner at both locations in the south and the west but I said over this past Christmas it’s just not running the way it should be in unfortunately we have the issue of the Covid that may have also caused the demand that everyone wanted their meal at this time .
When I was trying to place my order was calling in three hours twice to call my order in as a new that was a good demand and basically the phone just rang and rang and rang and rang. When I went to the premises I was basically told that they would not be able to do anything till 9:00 PM now consider this that my visit was at 3 PM in the afternoon so I kind of left a sour taste in my mouth her say as I do like the restaurant I like the people that operate it and everything else but unfortunately if you can accommodate people at least put a voice message saying that we’re not able to take orders or anything like that not leave the phone...
Read moreJust about fainted on the spot when they informed me that a regular bowl of wor won ton soup was going to cost me 20.00+. On the brochure of theirs it showed 5.00+ cheaper. I guess that now people are going out more and ordering more that they think that they have the right to gouge their customers. Especially, now that things are sort of returning to normal. What hasn't returned to normal is individuals incomes because the pandemic affected everyone financially. 20.00+ for some chicken broth, a few dumplings and 3 or 4 pieces of vegetables. Talk about inflation and a rip off. The prices of every other item had been raised as well and they are even too cheap to enclose napkins. The bottom line is we are not going to assist them in trying to just grab quick, unreasonable profits at our expense. We won't be ordering from here again in the future. We are going to find a more reasonably priced Asian food restaurant that has great tasting food. I am sure that there are some more out there. Won't waste our hard earned money on...
