I recently had the opportunity to dine at one of KFC’s locations, and I am pleased to provide a comprehensive review of my experience. As a long-time customer of the brand, I’ve always admired KFC for its consistent quality and global reputation. This particular visit, however, stood out—not only for the food, which met my expectations, but for the high level of customer service that truly elevated the entire experience.
Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by the staff at the counter with a warm smile and a courteous “Welcome to KFC.” There was an atmosphere of professionalism balanced with friendliness that set a positive tone from the outset. The service crew was composed, attentive, and well-trained in managing both dine-in and take-out orders, even during peak hours.
The ordering process was seamless and efficient. The employee taking my order demonstrated excellent product knowledge, patiently answering my questions and even suggesting best-value combo options. I opted for the 3-piece chicken meal with coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a drink. I also added a side of fries and one of their famous Zinger sandwiches to test a variety of items.
What impressed me was the speed of service without compromising quality. Despite a steady stream of customers, my order was prepared and served within ten minutes. Every item was hot, fresh, and visually appealing. The classic original recipe chicken was crispy, flavorful, and juicy—just the way KFC has always promised. The mashed potatoes were smooth with rich gravy, the coleslaw was crisp and tangy, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The Zinger sandwich was particularly notable for its bold, spicy flavor and freshly toasted bun.
Cleanliness is another area where KFC excelled during my visit. The dining area was spotless, tables were immediately cleared and sanitized between diners, and restrooms were well-maintained—an often overlooked but important aspect of the dining experience.
What stood out most was the follow-through from the staff. A team member checked in mid-meal to ask if everything was to my satisfaction—a rare but welcome gesture in fast food settings. They were genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction, which shows a culture of service excellence.
To conclude, my recent experience at KFC exceeded expectations across the board. From food quality to customer engagement and operational efficiency, it was clear that this branch is committed to upholding the KFC standard while going the extra mile in service delivery. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a casual meal with friends or family, KFC continues to be a dependable and satisfying choice.
I wholeheartedly recommend this KFC location and will definitely return. Kudos to the entire team for delivering not just a meal, but a truly pleasant and...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!! After speaking with a very useless manager tonight, I am incredibly disappointed with the lies I experienced from the staff.
I ordered online for pick-up at 6:30 PM and the pickup time listed 6:44 PM. Due to an incredible influx in traffic in the parking lot, I didn't arrive until 6:55 PM. I entered through the drive-thru and when I got to the window, two seperate employees verified my name on the order. Then, one of the employees stated that they needed another 15 minutes to complete my order. When I asked why, I was told that their "fryer is not working". I said that's fine but obviously I can't go anywhere because the parking lot is packed. They then instructed me to illegally park on the side of the building and they would bring my food out to me within 15 minutes. As I sat and waited for my food, I watched 5 other vehicles place their orders and exit the drive thru with their orders. As well, approximately 10-15 skip and Uber eats drivers came, picked up food, and left. After about 20 minutes, I went into the restaurant to get my food and an employee was making her way out to me. I asked her why they haven't closed their orders online if they were that busy and she told me that the manager was the only one with that capability and there was NO MANAGER ON DUTY tonight. She then told me they put a whole 3 extra pieces of chicken in the bag as compensation (which is honestly ridiculous). We got home and I filled out the survey a little while later and received a phone call from THE MANAGER ON DUTY tonight (meaning the first employee lied or the "manager" is lying). All she had to say was that they were sorry and it won't happen again (but we all know it will) but she kept asking me if we received the 3 pieces of chicken as compensation. I am APPALLED by the lack of customer service from KFC and hope people avoid this location because they only care about how much money they can take from you...
Read moreThis KFC should just close the doors. They do not provide any proper service to the customers. I went thru their drive thru to pick up dinner after work. There was a line in the drive thru, and that was my mistake to think they would have me thru in less then 10 minutes.
Before I got to the speaker to place my order I had already been waiting 5 mins. When I arrive at the speaker. They then asked me to wait a minute which turn into another 3 to 4 minutes. Then I placed my order, and had to wait another 8 minutes until I could get to the window to pay for the food. At this point they told me my food was not ready, and I would have to wait longer. Now at this point why am I waiting for food. When I have already been waiting in their drive thru for 12 minutes.
This is not good service, nor should any customer have to be made to wait this long in a drive thru. I then asked for the manager. Her name was Joyce, and was rude to start. At no point did she, or the cashier made apology for the extreme wait time in the drive thru. The only thing she offer was a free slice of cheese cake to make up for waiting over 20 minutes in their drive thru. If I could bill them for wasting my time in the drive thru. I would.
Any customer going to this location should think about it, because KFC is okay chicken. The customer service is very poor, and the manager Joyce should be fired, or have more training. Now that we have other options in Edmonton for better chicken then poor quality from KFC. Popeye's will now be getting my business for all my future business, and I would highly suggest to others to go to Popeyes. They know how to treat customers, and provide customer service everyone can be happy with.
I hope this location fails, and closes their doors soon. As this would be best for the community...
