Wednesday afternoon September 13th 2017 ordered spicy schezuan noodle soup it seemed I got served with less meat content compare to yesterday plus did not get the coffee that comes with the meal

I didn't realize that they only offer it until 4:30 pm, I got there about half hour later (big deal)

I'm disappointed not getting the coffee and still expected to pay the same price not even a tea refill!!!

I am a regular customer here for quite sometime now, no show of little appreciation for being a regular customer

Overall assessment, my dining experiences here have been inconsistent when it comes to food quality and customer service

it's pretty obvious the owner doesn't care about customer loyalty, I'm just a number

This will be my last visit here!!!

previous visit Tuesday afternoon September 12th 2017 ordered schezuan spicy noodle soup comes with free coffee

previous visit Sunday dinner September 10th 2017 ordered beef brisket Lomein

previous visit Saturday Night September 9th 2017 ordered chef's specials pan fried squid with gailan steamed basa fish with tofu in black bean sauce

previous visit Friday night dinner September 9th 2017 ordered vegetarian - king oyster mushroom with vegetables ho fan noodle dish for take out

previous visit Wednesday dinner September 6th 2017 ordered wonton n dumpling soup and fok kin (fukien) fried rice

previous visit Tuesday Lunch September 5th 2017 ordered wonton n dumpling Lomein

previous visit Monday afternoon September 4th 2017 ordered their brunch special comes with coffee or tea and my pick of main dish Beef Ho Fan

previous visit Sunday dinner September 3rd 2017 ordered seafood with beancurd hotpot with a bowl of steamed rice

the dish contains seafood such as scallops, shrimps and squids also came with bbq pork, pork rind, pig ear?, and chicken and some veggies and fried beancurds

I was expecting only seafood and beancurd so surprisingly half of the hotpot contains these other meats I have identified above

previous visit Saturday lunchtime September 2nd 2017 ordered beef brisket Lomein

previous visit Friday night dinner September 1st ordered beef brisket Lomein

previous visit Thursday lunchtime August 31st 2017 I ordered wonton and dumpling in soup

previous visit Friday night dinner August 25th 2017 Pretty busy night

took few minutes extra before I got served with tea and another few minutes before my order was taken

there's only one server who's doing everything from cleaning the table, setting up the table, serve tea and take orders

not the kind of service I'm expecting considering there should be more servers available especially on Fridays

previous visit Monday afternoon August 14th 2017 my server told me they've changed their meat supplier a week ago as they've received lots of complaints about the...

I was craving for BBQ. Since its close to Lucky and we are already there, I went to order g9 which is PORK BBQ! Instead I got a PROCCESSED TOCINO meat!!! So dismayed! I asked, Is it good for 2? I pointed my child and my self as the one attending cant barely speak English. She said yes, a lot. Then she asked me to pay. I repeated myself. Is the order good for 2 people? She said, make it 2 pounds. So I agreed. As she said its so good.. Then I paid. Then, I went outside to transfer my car from infront of massage to their front. I even ran as its windy and cold already. When I get back inside, My order is done! Time to eat at home... With our dismay... The PORK BBQ is not that warm anymore. Coz, They only warmed it. Its not fresh. And its NOT a BBQ. Its a VERY SWEET TOCINO! The slice is even oblong. The TOCINO From the counter thats already cooked and you just need to warm it! They have a lot at TnT and its even so hot! And waaay cheaper! And labels of food you ate buying us same with the Item that you are looking for... I CALLED AND GAVE MY REACTION, THE LADY CANT UNDERSTAND ME, SHE EVEN SAID THAT'S A HONEY, WE GET THAT HONEY EVERY MORNING FROM A BEE!!! THAT'S NOT THE POINT, I did not order for a very sweet processed meat. I ORDERED A PORK BBQ assuming that it us freshly grilled or roasted. I just wasted my 3 hours hard earned salary on this very dark and looked so old Little Bee...

Worst experience ever. We came here since I was craving for some noodle soup. We arrived when the restaurant wasn't very busy. We ordered 2 noodle soups and it took them more than 20 minutes to bring it to the table. Portion was small for the price. By the time my bowl arrived, it was bland like water so I asked the lady if I could have some chili oil. Waited another 10 minutes watching her moving around and finally I had to ask for 1 more time just for her to go grab it on the next table, literally. Then my noodle went cold 😑. After that we would like to order 1 more to eat at the restaurant since the portion was so small, waited another 15 minutes just for her to bring the food out...packed..for us to take out as she "thought" we would like to take home but we didn't say that. To add the last worse bit to this review, we were okay taking it home, when we opened the food at home the soup they gave wasn't enough to cover noodles..we did order extra noodles with soup (and got charged extra for that) but they didn't have the common sense to add enough soup to make a proper meal. Never coming back. Literally...

Last minute decision to eat Chinese and it was the only place open later than 9pm in the north end. Nice bonus that it's a HK style cafe. Unfortunately there was little to no HK cafe style food on the menu. So we refered to the online menu which had it all listed. Our food was really tasty and portions a bit skimpy but the prices were ridiculously high. $17.95 each for fried rice and fried noodles and almost $13 for a noodle soup! The food was good but not good enough to justify those prices. This being the only legit Chinese restaurant in the north, I can see why the prices are what they are but this will only deter me from the northside for Chinese. I will stick to Chinatown to get great Chinese food at a fair price in the future.

One of the rare HK-style cafes located in the city. The seating and the atmosphere sort of makes you feel like you are in Hong Kong /Vancouver. There is a huge selection on the menu which may take several visits to try. Price is fair and food quality is alright (can't compare to HK though). The only drawback to this place was the service. They were a bit disorganized; the servers seemed confused at times, and we had to ask two different servers before our food finally came. Bottom line: don't expect the servers to be extra friendly or personal. It might be a bit of a cultural shock to some, but the edgy serving style is actually quite normal among most Hong Kong style restaurants around the world.
