Maple Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

We've been wanting to try this place for a while. It is so highly rated we thought it can't be true. Honestly, nothing deserves a 4.9 star or at least we thought. Let me tell you... you have to try this pizza before you die! It is that good! We ordered (2) 16" pizzas as we wanted leftovers. HA! We made it through 2 pieces each and each pizza had 10 pieces, so needless to say we will have leftovers for a long time. The pizzas weighed about 10lbs total and had tons of toppings, but the real winner here is the thick real layer of cheese perfectly cooked on the top and the crunchy flavourful garlic crust. The pizza was cut flawlessly and you could remove a piece and hold it upside down and it stuck together, that's how dense it was. No sloppy crust here! If I could give this 6 stars I would. I have been ordering from maple for years! Amazing service, very kind and friendly workers / owners. Today I ordered online and the driver who brought my order did not have change for my payment even though I selected "cash" in the ordering boxes. The driver left with my food.. needless to say I called the store and was a little rude. But like seasoned professionals the manager talked me down and apologized. He told the driver to just give me the food at no charge and to apologize! 100% I will continue to suggest this restaurant to anyone who asks me where the best pizza in E-town is. We ordered a Pizza, some wings and Donairs from this location. First things first, the prices set are very competitive. The food was delicious. You could easily tell it was made fresh from scratch, they told me they make everything in-house. The staff/owners are very friendly and happy to share their story. The service is quick and your food is way better than you will ever expect. This is hands down one of the best pizza and donair places in Edmonton and best value for your money.
