Haven’t been living in edmonton long enough to figure out my surroundings or navigate my way, my phone was dead I was alone and scared, I had an Uber come to get me beside this place and while I was on the phone with him my phone died. Went into this Saigon place had my own charger and asked to charge my phone, before I could tell the guy I’d gladly buy dinner and drinks for myself and tip generously just so I can order another Uber to come get me he said “no no no” shaking his head at me shooing me out the door. Place is dark and dingy and dusty and the vibes are not welcoming. Would not recommend going here I can’t say anything about the food since I wasn’t able to get a word in to order. They just want your money and if you need help they’d probably let you die not going to lie, from the vibes I got lol 😭 now I went to whistling kettle a few doors down, the woman was so lovely and nice! Ordered a Pepsi float and soup, sandwhich and fries and it was delicious! Cute little place to take yourself I highly recommend whistling kettle . ❤️ I was so grateful to get help from her I made sure to tip her wonderfully and wish her a good day she deserves it.

Read moreThis is a semi-regular place for me. A little bit pricey, considering the blah atmosphere but the place is clean, the service is good and friendly, and the food is very good. And that's what is the most important thing in a restaurant after all. Dine in or take-out. I don't know if they have a delivery option or not. The food is worth the price. Shanghai noodles are very good, fried rice and sweet and sour pork are excellent. Cashew chicken also good. They also have spicier menu items for those who want them.
I am adding a little note to my earlier review. I've since been here two more times, most recently Nov. 17, 2019. They now have delivery service through Skip the Dishes, though; for some reason the Skip the Dishes site was having trouble with their app and I couldn't find Saigon Flavours on Skip the Dishes. Skip the Dishes is working on this app issue and hopes to resolve it by about Nov. 22, 2019. Here's...
Read moreI was glutenized here! Please be weary when ordering. Ask for all ingredients in preparation. The staff, unfortunately, is misinformed on the requirements for people with celiac disease.
It tasted great, but it's definitely not worth the punishment going on my guts right now. I am so disappointed that I could cry. Especially after I inquired with the server a few times about the preparation of the dish to make sure this didn't happen.
To the staff, please read all the ingredients on your items before you use them. Just in case I want to mention that, soy sauce DOES contain gluten. If the words "barley, wheat, rye, malt flavoring" are anywhere on the bottle, then we can not eat it. Even modified starches can be a gamble.
Please be more conscious in the future this for the sake of other future patrons. I'm not sure I'll be able to come back as I no longer have faith in their "gluten-free...
