The food was delicious. I decided to go with the sirloin steak and eggs. I got the steak medium rare and my eggs sunny side up. Both were cooked perfectly. I'm always a little worried when ordering steak, because it can easily be a hit or miss, but the cook in the back definitely knows how to cook a steak. The coffee was delicious as well, topped up fairly often, and arriving at just the right temperature. The atmosphere at 8am was nice and cozy. Like a small town diner. Staff was polite and friendly. I was told by some of the regulars we could sit anywhere and when more costumers arrived they said good morning since we were close to the entrance. It was a pretty cool vibe. Portion sizes were generous. The cherry on top though was the price. That amount of food, at that quality, for that price. Left you feeling full at the end, but also very satisfied like you got your moneys worth. Especially, considering if you were to go to Starbucks or timmies down the street you would only get a couple trinkets and a coffee for the same price

The Best little cafe for breakfast in NE Edmonton along 50 St. During weekdays, they're open for breakfast from 6 am. Open on weekends too. July 2019 - 3rd visit Ordered my favourite breakfast special 3 eggs over easy, hashbrowns, corned beef, and rye bread And of course their freshly brewed coffee. June 2019 2nd visit Ordered the same breakfast 3 large eggs over easy style Corned beef Toasted rye bread Hashbrowns with diced green peppers and onions Good coffee too with free refills Very satisfied, freshly prepared to my liking I'll be back again initial visit Nice little cafe Reasonably priced menu Friendly staff Ordered the traditional breakfast Comes with 3 eggs, choice of meat, toast and hashbrowns 3 large eggs done to my liking, over easy style, the rye toast is large and tasted freshly baked, ample serving of corned beef and it tasted very good, and the hashbrowns tasted freshly prepared. Coffee is good with free refills Has a good selection of jams for your toast. Definitely highly recommended and I'll be back for sure!

A good old-style neighborhood diner/restaurant. NOTE: Cash or Debit only. Three of us arrived around 09:15 on Saturday. It was nearly full. There's mostly booths for four with some added tables; it's fairly plainly decorated. The main items are listed on wall boards, but we asked for menus. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee arrived right away. We got two Killer Omelettes and a Srambler with rye and white toast. They too came quickly. The meals were hot and good sized, fairly plain but well made. The Scrambler was essentially a de-constucted omlette. The meals were tasty. The coffee was OK - light medium roast but one with a bit of a 'cereal' taste. We thought it was overpriced at $3, even for the 'bottomless' cup. The bill for three with tip was $58. Overall we recommend the Cafe for a good breakfast, but it's not particularly cheap.
