Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Edmonton

Since we were driving in very late into the city we planned to order pizza when we got to our hotel room. Ordering was easy enough and the time it took to be prepared was about the same. Getting to the store was a bit tricky and parking was great because it was so late. The employees did not look to be worried about hygiene during this pandemic with no gloves or mask on. They handed each other things with close proximity not practicing the social distancing procedure. And when getting into my car I could smell something was burnt I also smelled it when the employee handed me my boxes of pizza. My wife said it smelled good so I thought it was just in my head but I could smell the burnt smell. When we got into our room and opened the boxes the pepperoni pizza was not even cut all the way through so we had some big pieces of pizza to handle (3 slices all connected) and of course the pepperonis were curled upwards and black at the tip of curled parts and blackish red the rest of the pepperoni. The saltiness was so bad it was as If they sprinkled on two table spoons of salt on top. And the chicken parmesan was not as garlicky and flavorful like we usually have it. Just every bland and and dry. The effort to go back and make them remake it all was just too much and since we had our hearts set on pizza and didn’t eat a solid meal for 6 hrs we just ate it and drank lots of wine to try and cut the saltiness (did not help at all btw). Been ordering pizza from here for the past couple months and everything tasted decent. These past few times the pizza has been undercooked and doughy. Today once I got into my car with the pizzas I checked them out. The one that was supposed to be homestyle crust is now a thin pizza no worries on that. The pan crust pizza was flimsy and had a very very light colour crust so because of last time it being undercooked I went back inside and asked if they could cook it more since it looks undercooked. She told me if it burns there’s nothing she can do, then she open the side of the oven and put the pizza in. It looked fine after it came out again but once we placed a slice on our plate we notice it was still undercooked. In the pic under the pepperoni what looks like gooey cheese is undercooked mushy dough. Not to mention when I got inside the guy filling up the cooler with pop had to run out back to grab someone for me since he notice I was waiting quite a while and when she came to the front she stayed on the phone chatting during the transaction to even cutting my pizza with it on her shoulder. She could of told whoever she was talking to, to hold on a moment like most places that serve you. Almost wanted to bring the recooked pizza back and ask for a refund…. Pizza 73 may taste like cardboard but at least...

I ordered pizza from this location yesterday through my app. The delivery driver phoned me to let me know he was here. I went to the door and he was at my neighbours house. He turned around and looked at me and snapped at me that I gave him the wrong address. He came around to my door and repeated himself. I replied that no I didn't. He pointed at the receipt and shoved it in my face (about 6 inches from my face). There was a moment of silence, as I literally could not believe he was speaking to me like this, and then he snapped at me again and yelled "TAKE THE RECEIPT!" When I went inside I looked at the receipt and noticed that there was in fact two different addresses on receipt. One was my neighbours and the other was mine. I can't explain why or how two different address were on the receipt, but it does not excuse how the delivery driver handled himself. Completely unacceptable. I will never order from Pizza hut again!

For anyone who does order from here, make sure you preheat your oven to 450 as they consistently under cook their pizzas and you will need to finishing cooking it...
