I recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming little eatery for the first time, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for something special. The food, the beverages, and the overall ambiance combined to create a truly remarkable dining adventure. Without hesitation, I give this place a resounding 5-star rating. Let's start with the food—oh, the food! Every bite was a symphony of flavors, artfully crafted by the talented chefs in the kitchen. The menu offered an impressive array of options, and I found it challenging to make a selection amidst the mouthwatering choices. In the end, I settled on a dish that was recommended by the friendly server. The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had made the right choice. The flavors danced on my palate, perfectly balanced and bursting with freshness. It was evident that the ingredients used were of the highest quality, and the culinary expertise was unparalleled. Each dish served was a work of art, beautifully presented and a delight to behold. To complement the delightful food, the beer selection was simply outstanding. As a connoisseur of cold brews, I was thrilled to find a range of options available. The beer was served chilled to perfection, enhancing the flavors and providing a refreshing accompaniment to the meal. The staff's knowledge of the beer offerings was impressive, and their recommendations were spot-on. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply enjoy a cold one with your meal, this place has got you covered. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the portion sizes. They were nothing short of enormous! It's safe to say that no one leaves this place feeling hungry. The portions were generous and satisfying, ensuring that even the heartiest of appetites would be satisfied. Each plate was filled to the brim with delicious food, leaving me with both a sense of contentment and the anticipation of leftovers to enjoy later. The value for money was exceptional, considering the quality and quantity of the food. Beyond the culinary delights, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and relaxed environment that was perfect for enjoying a meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to make the dining experience memorable. Their professionalism and knowledge of the menu added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. In conclusion, my first visit to this restaurant was an absolute triumph. The exceptional food, the cold and refreshing beer, and the generous portion sizes all contributed to a truly memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure. Without a doubt, this place deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. I cannot wait to return and indulge in their culinary delights once again.

Went on a busy UFC weekend night. The food was AMAZING!! The fusion style is done really well with interesting crossovers between foods, like the donair rolls being made with spring roll wrappers, and what I assume is the same seasoning for the bibimbap bowl being used in the bao buns. Neither style of food suffers. The lemon pepper wings were delightfully crispy and brightly lemony. The green onions cakes were a perfect softness with a hint of crunch and the Thai chili sauce that came with it was a wonderful and unique mix of sweet and spicy. The donair rolls were a surprise treat and the sauce that came with them was INSANE. That sauce was a highlight and paired well with every single item we ordered. The tater tot nachos were fun and different. The decor is cute. My only complaints was that the service was pretty slow but it was a busy night and they might have been short staffed. I also really hate the bathroom signs. Like, a lot.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Happy hour ends at 5 here not 6 like the other location but they still have pretty good daily specials. We ended up sharing an order of nachos, spicy chipotle chips and the beef quesadillas. The best was definitely the quesadillas. They were tasty and had lots of meat in them. For the price the portion was great. The "spicy" chips were quite good but there was absolutely no spice to them. The nachos were just okay but they were also a good size. Service was really good too and we found the place had a good atmosphere. Will be back to try a few more of their dishes.

Went to check out Thirsty Camel Orchards location last night (a Monday evening) around 9:00 pm to have a quick bite to eat on my way home as I had missed dinner. I walked in, and there was only one table in the restaurant that was occupied by a couple, however there were 3 couples sitting at the bar who sounded like they were having a fantastic evening. I did a quick scan and as far as I could see there was only one employee out front functioning as waitress/bartender. She appeared to be busy with the group at the bar so I wandered over to the VLTs and decided to play a few games and just order my food and drink from there. Well, I ended up winning a few jackpots so ended up playing VLTS for about 2 hours, and in that time nobody even once came over to take a drink order, take a food order , say “hi, can I get you anything?”- NOT ONCE. And the waitress knew I was there because I won multiple jackpots which were loud (machines with bells ringing) and resulted in some drunk cheering from a few patrons at the bar right where she was standing. It sounded like she knew the people sitting at the bar, perhaps they were friends- which is fine but you can not completely ignore other customers. It is normal protocol if you are playing VLTS in any establishment for someone to come over and take a drink order or see if you want anything to eat. I shouldn’t have to get up and leave a machine that has my money in it to go up to the bar and order my food or drinks. So because Thirsty Camel clearly didn’t want the money I was going to spend on food and drinks, I didn’t spend it there. After 2 hours of being ignored, while I was spending 300$ of my money in their VLTs I cashed in my tickets and walked out. And I won’t return either. Too bad the service is horrible because we live like 6 blocks away, it could have been a regular place to eat or hang out /play VLTs with friends from our neighborhood. I plan on ensuring all my neighbours and friends hear about my experience as well so they don’t waste their time either!...

So I felt like I needed to thank the amazing people of Thirsty Camel by leaving a review. Without going into too many long winded details....

We needed catering for our child's 6th birthday party. It was a family affair (about 20-25 ppl of whom, 5 were kids.) I was sick of buying sandwich platters from the grocery store because my kid is a picky eater and wouldn't eat any leftovers so I was determined to buy foods she'd eat if there was going to be leftovers. She loves spring rolls and onion cakes but places like TNT Market and some caterers were asking a bit out of budget. I was then told on a community group that our local Thirsty Camel had those kind of finger foods and I somewhat reluctantly called to inquire. I'm so thankful I did! A tonne of food, great prices, amazing service and everything I could have asked for came with our pick up order of 4 platters (includes veggies, dips, onion rings, kettle chips, dry ribs, wings, spring rolls and onion cakes!) It turns out our guests loved the food SO much there weren't any leftovers 😆. Next year we plan to rent out a space at our local Residents Association so we can include some neighbors and some friends from my daughter's school in the invite and have 1 big party and you better believe if the food quality, amount and costs stay relatively comparable they will be our go to!

My only complaint - I think I've set the bar too high and now family says they can't wait for next year! 😆 Well done TC.

Special shout outs to: Justine, Jeff, Alyssa, Mel and everyone else I forgot to mention. You guys are really appreciated and we will be passing by with our little because she can't stop raving/craving about that...
