We visited WIng Fu on Nov. 22, 2014 and had the worst experience ever at that restaurant. We have gone several times saying never again, but knew they moved to their new location and was hoping the expereince would be better. Terrible all the way. We arrived at 6pm, it was a bit busy but only 3 tables occupied and a few people waiting for takeout. We waited until 6:45 before we even saw the waitress who brought us menus and said she would return to wash off the table. At 7:15 the chinese lady was cleaning tables and we asked if she could take our order and she said just wait. We should have walked out at that point as the lady and her son sitting to our left had been there an hour and a half and not seen their drinks or food yet. At 7:30 that couple got their foo, with no utensils to eat with and no drinkls served, she got her own utensils from another table and got her own drinks from the cooler. At 7:45 our food came and when I questioned the Almond gu ding having only brocoli and some kind of clear sauce over it, the chinese lady said you must be from out west we have different food here. When I told her I have lived her for 50 years she walked away. The food was terrible, the service was the poorest I have ever experienced in my life and there was no apology for the poor service...We paid the 40 dollars for the disgusting meal, and last but not least, the poor couple that had been there for 2 and a half hours at this point still had not received their bill so she figured it up herself and left the money.
We arrived home at 9pm, at 10:30 I was vommiting uncontrobally. NEVER NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN. I will travel 30 minutes out of my way to go to King Town in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a bit dated inside, my first time here. Old curtains, tables ect which looks like from the 90s likely. The lady that greets and is the waitress is a bit rough, I've called and tried to get in a few times but for some reason they close the dining room at 630 which seems odd to me as alot of people don't eat supper until 6 or 7 ish. One would think 9 or 10 would be more acceptable. That being said, let's get to the food. Delicious, portions im told are not as big as they used to be, but delicious non the less, i would say i like the food at chow family the best and better then here, especially the egg rolls that have curry. However these were delicious non the less and the general tao, chicken balls, rice and egg foo young were really good, the sauce was a bit goopy if that makes sense. More then I'm used to. However the food was overall really good and id say the second best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Would highly recommend unless you are eating past 6 pm and don't want to eat in the car, we don't live in the area so that's the only other option. But yes, i would go back. Prices were very high for 2 combo plates and an order of eggfoo young. But everything is expensive now. Definitely recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered take out and was told it would take 20 minutes. 40 minutes later we were still waiting. Finally got my food and took it home. The bag was filled with juice that seeped out of the container. The egg roll was on top of the rice, flattened and soggy from all the juice in the dish. One of my dishes was "X.O. Crispy Beef" I don't know what's so crispy about chewy soggy beef covered in (this is just my opinion) way to much sauce. The ribs were all right, except for the fact that they didn't resemble ribs at all and there was next to no meat on them, just cartilage. The rice was soggy as well. The only good part was the Chowmein, and an extra egg roll that I had ordered that came in a seperate container. I will give this place one more chance, if it's the same way I'm...
