A&W Canada — Restaurant in Elmsdale

Not very impressed by the service. My 1st time to the one of the franchise. Place looked clean. well maintained. But the male employee working there is too fast to listen to what the customer wants. Poor listening skills. I ordered beef and chicken and i ended up getting all beef. He complimented with a chicken burger though which wasnt upto the one that i ordered. For namesake with less stuffings. I got finger fries instead of Onion rings. He seems very careless. They have a microphone kind of thing on their heads i wonder what for????????? Not everyone visiting knows whats being served there and also A&W should try making an order easy instead of going by those fancy papa mama and whatever. It makes 1st timers nervous and wastes time . It can simple as Small, medium and large with single double or triple layered meat. Make it simple so that people like me wont end up getting nervous as people waiting behind me might get offended.

I’m a fan of A&W. I’ve been to this one occasionally for many years with no complaints. That made me hesitant to comment about my last visit, but reading the bad comments here, I can honestly identify with them. So, my wife and I had the Bacon & Egger on English Muffin, with hash browns. The hash browns were literally dripping oil, so did the english muffins, through the. wrappers and on the table while trying to eat them. Absolutely disgusting. I had no time to waste for complaining due to time constraints.The cook was handling food with bare hands, also disgusting. It seems the entire staff is different from those I was used to see. New owners? NOT going back there...

The manager is happy to argue and defend the mistakes his staff made to our $40+ order and asked for more money for the burger they missed in our drive-through order. The whole point of fast food is the convenience, if I have to come in and ask for my receipt, correct the order and pay for the things the staff missed then there is no reason to eat here at all. poor service (we left and ate elsewhere) time wasted disrespectful waste of customer time and money the burger I ordered was also made with toppings on the outside somehow
