Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant & Take-Out — Restaurant in Espanola

My husband and I drove a long way, tire and hungry, the whole way hardly saw restaurant or fast food. So finally we got to Espanola and saw a street sign said Golden Dragon Chinese Buffet, we were so happy and desperate for Chinese food, so we went! The restaurant is located in a small town, from out side it’s very traditional Chinese design and when we walked in the first thought was small place but packed with lots people! The decorations inside seems very old and the food options was very little! Regarding the taste wasn’t the best that I had, but at that time was good enough to filling up the tummy. The service was good and fast, they also take debit and credit! I don’t have much thought of this place, just very old, traditional, small and food is okay, price is definitely cheaper than most of Toronto Chinese buffet place. Extremely poor food handling and practices. Food is left out in buffet table for way to long, you can tell because the food at the bottom is backed into the pan and crusty. Also saw them just add food to the buffet without rotating ( F.I.F.O.) first in, first out.

Also when the girl came out to add food she was dressed like a bum, she was wearing a baggy sweater and raggedy torn up Jean's.

Currently at the moment myself, my mom and grandma are sick after from eating there. We got food poisoning from them.

Place is extremely dirty and wall paper is peeling off. Would not recommend anyone to go here. I would have rated this a -5 but there is no option.
