A&W Canada — Restaurant in Fernie

Always a bad sign when you walk in and the only 2 other people there are getting cold food remade or flat out returning it....make sure if you order the 5oz bacon cheese uncle burger and you don't want tomato on it to clarify you still want bacon and cheese on it. Apparently if you ask to remove the tomato you are asking for the bacon and cheese to be removed as well....otherwise they will charge you $ .70 each to put it back on a burger that includes it when you didn't even ask for those 2 items to be taken off...shook my head and just left...I don't have time or energy to even try argue this level of stupid....A&W Fernie,...

I was there today at 11:30am, it was not busy, but yet I waited 10 minutes to be served as the two young people behind the counter had their back to me talking. Once I placed my order I waited a few minutes and watched them mess up a couple orders and put 1 back on the shelf. Once I got mine and left, taking to my hubby for lunch. I opened ours and his burger was cold, both our fries were still half un cooked and the lettuce on my burger was all wilted and gross. That was a weste of almost $30.00. Never again will...

The young trainee at the counter had some struggles! We did not get all of our order to start. 6 of us finished eating before the last Teenburger arrived. We had to ask for our last 2 drinks. We were only given 1 napkin for 7 people. There were ANTS in the Coke drink. The tables were not wiped. The restaurant was not clean at all. The Men's washroom was out of order with no alternative. AND, they were out of onion rings!! What A & W restaurant does not have...
