Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

I had to edit this review. I have been a patron of Domino's in Edmonton, and Fort Saskatchewan for ages. So sad is the day that Domino's turned into what it is now.

Ever since the renovations of the Fort Saskatchewan Domino's, they have jacked the prices of their food. Customers don't need to walk into a BRAND NEW interior. It was not even old. It was functional and looked great the way it was. So, that cost was passed on to the customer. 👏

The quality of the toppings went downhill. Less and less each year. It used to be 'regular cheese' or 'double cheese'. They added a cost tier in between those options. 'Extra cheese'. Which is based on who is making your pizza. Every day has a different gauge of topping quantity. When worker 'A' is working, you get the normal amount of cheese and don't have to get extra cheese. When worker 'B' is working, you DO need to order extra cheese. 😑

Domino's now charges for extra pizza sauce. What costs the restaurant 5 cents, they charge +$1.00 for. How does THAT make sense? Sauce is so cheap. (I ran a few pizza restaurants. So, I know the costs).

The 4 topping large pizza was $12.99. Then it went up to $13.99. Then it went up to $14.99.

The medium pizza did the same thing. It was increased by $1.00. Then, shortly after, followed by another $1.00 increase.

Why does this matter? Because Domino's is a pizza place popular because it is a cheaper alternative for pizza. Now, Pizza 73, Buster's Sky Hy, and a few other place in Fort Saskatchewan are the same price. So, why choose Domino's, if the better quality pizza places are the same price? There is no reason to choose...

I was accused of stealing.

I was on a 30 min lunch break at work and I walk across the parking lot to domino's. I ordered a small peperoni pizza and a coke zero. The employees said it would take 8-10 minutes for my pizza to come out. I sat and waited 15 minutes and I still didn't have my pizza. I went up and asked if it was ready.

They said it should come out any second. I waited tell I have 5 mins of my lunch break left and still no pizza. The employee looked into it further and apparently my pizza order never got back to the cooks.

I asked if they could start making it now and drop it off at my place of work. I would be willing to pay the delivery fee.

When the delivery driver showed up with my pizza he had a coke zero as well as a bill of $15 and some cents. The delivery driver actually helped take my first order and was really nice. He recognized me and knew I had already paid. So he didn't make me pay again.

An hour or so later the delivery driver showed up saying his managers were pissed at him and I that they were saying I stole from them.That I needed to pay the $15. I pulled up my bank statement showing I had indeed paid. He took a photo of my banking to prove I did. I did pay the $5 delivery fee because I said I would.

To pay and not get my order and go hungry. then be accused of stealing was awful. This was also all happening while I was trying to work. Maybe next time someone order get messed up don't make a whole new order and expect them...

Got 4 pizzas for my little guys birthday party. 20 minutes after picking them up, I get a phone call saying it was someone from Domino's and that it was brought to his attention that a worker had put magic mushrooms on the pizza. As soon as I hear that I get all the kids to stop eating and I phone the RCMP. Turns out later that the dumbass manager gave out a bunch of phone numbers ( as for credit card numbers he told the police he didn't. Hope to hell he didn't ) to some random caller who just asked for them. I go to the store several days later and the kid scoffs about the ordeal and the purchase being it was half off that day - Then he says even though it was a crank call we could have eaten the other pizzas because they didn't have mushrooms. REALLY ! ! After a call like that and I am supposed to be fine with carrying on and eating this ? Have called the head office numerous times. Nobody will pickup the phone, you have to leave a message. Did that and yet they still will not call back. I WOULD SUGGEST STAYING AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND...
