SkyHy Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

I went to this location about a year and a half ago and I thought the pizza was so so I went there yesterday and my God what Garbage. Premade crust almost no toppings, and the salt content was through the roof. You could’ve given me pizza from Pizza 73 or Papa John’s or anywhere at the bottom of the pizza food chain and and I could’ve not told the difference. As you can see in the pictures, the pizza was paper thin with almost no toppings and I cannot believe that this barely 10 inch pizza is what they call a medium. I’d hate to see what they’re smalls are like for this pleasure. I shouted out almost $39 with the tip.

To anyone that says that this is the best food that they’ve ever eaten I think you need to get out more or develop a set...

Ok look. This place is the real deal. Don’t be deterred by the person who complained about fried fish. I don’t expect a Donair shop to make fresh fried fish. That’s what Brit’s is for. It’s a Donair shop, and they kill it. If you want a Donair, this is where you go if you don’t want a sloppy mess that’s too much of one thing. This Donair is balanced. If I went to a vending machine that offered pre made food items to the exacting specifications of the item being ordered, this Donair would be the textbook Donair that would fall out of the machine.

Further, there is no place providing the value that Sky Hy does. I don’t believe there is any place that does as good of a job. If there is, I want to know because I’ll believe it...

Edit: after leaving 5 star I had to go back and change it today. I got a donair which was great and the same pizzas I got last time but there is a funk to the pizza and I think the pizza dough is the cause. I think it has gone bad or something? Anyways the pizza is horrible and 3 people tried it none of us can even eat it. Keep in mind this is the same meat lovers and cheese pizzas I had a week ago and was telling people to go to sky high over Perry's and the other spots. Honestly it's really gross it's all going in the garbage and I'm sure other people today had the same experience because the pizza was cooked normally. Too bad, won't be going back.
