City Donair & Kabob — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

Ordered meal bundle and a milkshake for my daughter through skip the dishes. When courier arrived we were missing half of our food and no milkshake. The driver showed us the empty skip bag and said that was all that was given to him. This is the second time we have had issues with this poorly managed so called restaurant. Contacted store and told them the problem, 45 minutes goes by for a return phone call, ended up calling back and the guy told me that he was on phone with skip the dishes and he guaranteed us a full refund. Got an email 30 minutes later from skip the dishes and it said no refund would be issued. Called back to store and the same guy answered she phone, he played dumb and said he had no idea what I was talking g about. Said he was on a different shift but funny thing is, is the store just closed. So I know for a fact this guy was lying . Skip probably told him that they weren't issuing a refund so he knew he would have to pay it out of his pocket. I have been in this establishment before and the people that work there are very unprofessional and they have random stuff laying everywhere from front of store through kitchen. So at the end of the day my 4 year old daughter didn't get her meal or her milk shake , my spouse and I got half a meal each and we were lied to by this poor ran and managed so called restaurant! We strongly suggest you do not support this local establishment that is ran by non locals. We need to get these business out of our town and support real local hardworking restaurant owners that take pride in there business...

Ordered a Jumbo Donair and a Jumbo Chicken Wrap. Received 2 Jumbo Chicken wraps, both of which are colder than room temp. Inside and out even though they were picked up within 20 minutes of placing the order? As someone whos worked in hospitality for over a decade and has a valid food safe certificate, this worries me & this review is half just for documentation of this.

The one wrap that was supposed to be a donair is soaked in sauce that leaked through the wrap, plastic, & Bag. Onto the passenger seat of my truck. The other wrap is no joke half lettuce.

I've heard some pretty negative reviews in person about this place over the last couple years in fort so I strayed away. Tonight I decided I wasn't being fair and gave this place a shot after trying nearly every other restaurant in town... I haven't felt the need to review any business since I moved here but to say I'm disappointed with tonight is an understatement.

Stray clear of this place until they adopt...

If heaven was a place on earth, it would be Sandy’s (from modern denture) dill sauce. Having said that this place comes close and offers a friendly environment mixed with the family animosity and parental discord one would except from a quaint donair shop. I would definitely eat here again, not for the delicious food or the wonderful people but for the knowledge that every time I eat here it is the second best place in the world for donairs (which seriously in the entire world is super impressive).
