KFC — Restaurant in Fort St. John

Honestly this place is hit and miss. Like for example I was excited to check out their new dill crunch box meal but I drive across town and find out that their sold out of the pickled chips. Sounds like something that can be made daily so in that case that's just poor prepping. Also there has been a few times that I have ordered KFC from skip and I'm not sure what happened but I ended up crapping myself all night. There have been some food safety concerns with this location especially in regards to their coolers leaking and what not. Trust me you don't want to see the ground underneath the coolers, but they continue to make efforts to try to improve and they still try to hire Canadian citizens before relying solely upon work visas so I will give them that. All in all its ok I guess but like any place when it comes to chicken you can either have a good meal or well spend a night with food poisoning. This is the coin we toss each time we are too lazy to cook...

I had the last minute friday night craving for KFC and we rushed to the store and it was almost closing time (it was 8:59 when i barged in and they close at 9 lol). Now, i have worked in cust care and hated the last min orders (just being honest, you know). But the manager and his staff was really nice and gave me enough time to choose what i want (ofcoz i rushed and had no idea wht i want to order as i felt like eating everything there,lol). They had to make some fresh batch, which took another 15- 20 mins. If I could give this place a zero I would. The sign and the online menu both say $5 fill up. They charged me $5.99. I asked about it and was told the price went up. But clearly only inside. Very frustrated...more about the principal of it than the cost. I also did not take the included beverage but asked for an extra dipping sauce and was told it would be an additional $.25. This did not sit well so I asked for a manager who also argued the clearly priced $5 meal is $5.99 but they just didn't put the .99 on the sign, but finally agreed to not put through the $.25 on my debit. Was told the dipping sauces were in the bag only to find just the 1. Terrrrrrrible...
