I recieved a gift card for help another out, the person I help offered to take my wife and I out to a restaurant. Well weeks went by and eventually the person asked, which restaurants would you and your wife like to go. Well Browns Social House was our 1st choice. Well two days later the person drops off this gift card ($100). Much thanks for work and help you for me. So the my wife Belinda& I Daryl finally had time for us both to get out. We went out to Browns Social House in Fort St. John We had one fantastic evening out thanks to everyone of the staff at Browns Social House Fort St. John Sunday December 1, 2024 The food was awesome 👌 I can't remember what it was all called off the menu, only because the atmosphere and staff were all just as great. If there were more stars to be had - they would be added! This restaurant had the ambience of being served in one's own home. The welcome was hearty, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, the server (wish I could remember her name) was amazing. She made sure we never ran out of our soda and was so kind and efficient to boot! Definitely one of the best servers we have had! The manager was so helpful - came around to ensure my baggage and purse was stowed away carefully. I was so impressed that I called him over to rave about how the leadership of the restaurant must be stellar - because it showed in every aspect of our experience. The owner happened to be there as well and that was a treat to speak with her to show appreciation for a job well done!!! Thank you Brown's Social House for an outstanding experience from the welcome, the food, the service, and the warm goodbyes. What a treat!...

The food was ok. Service was ok as well, if not a bit slow but I don't mind not being rushed. My biggest issue was that they advertise a "True Guinness Pint" on their menu as "20 oz" but proceeded to pour me a 14 oz beer. Not only that, they pour the Guinness like its a run of the mill lager. This may not be a big deal, but I am big on tradition and having been to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin and poured my own "Perfect Pint" and had numerous Irish bartenders take the time to properly prepare a Guinness for me, I find it hard not to be disappointed. Once I pointed out my pint was not as advertised they gave me another improperly poured 14 oz on the house...still left disappointed. Saw other patrons getting the same 14 oz Guinness and most likely paying...
