A&W Canada — Restaurant in Gander

Review will be updated once I've heard from the owner at this location and A&W Corporate. Outright theft, inability to communicate and provide basic information, and calling the RCMP on customers who insist on better service and refunds as requested. Absolutely appalling 'service'.

Still haven't heard from the owner, 9 days later. Attempt at somewhat of an apology for the 'experience', by a supervisor.

Gift card coming to me from corporate, not even close to the value of my time and energy spent on this entire ordeal - so Gander A&W still got to keep my money. Staff needs training on food quality and preparation, as well as basic customer service, as all areas are lacking at this location. Drive on past them, from the other reviews I've read, they haven't been able to provide good food or service for quite some time, and it doesn't look to be...

I had an absolutely fantastic visit to A&W in Gander, NL. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and fast-paced in the best way. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you'd hope for – that classic A&W taste that always hits the spot. The Teen Burger was stacked perfectly, and the onion rings were crispy and golden.

But what really made the experience memorable was the outstanding service I received from Cazandra. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. Her smile and warm energy made the visit feel extra special. It’s not often you find someone who makes fast food service feel personal, but she did exactly that.

My hubby and i drive truck... And when we go out on the rd to work we are gone 4-6 weeks so you know we have more then a occasional burger and what not. A&W is probably our favorite burger place. We have eaten at this particular A&W quite a bit... It is always clean and fresh and friendly there. Seems to be same lady there most times... So tonight i had to ask her name... Trina... Well your customer service and friendliness is what made me think to do this review tonight... I will definitely be back. With customer service like she gave tonight and always will be the reason we do... As much as we like A&W there are some i refuse to even eat at because of dirtiness n rude workers..
