Bien Manger — Restaurant in Gatineau

I tried the griot and goat plates. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I felt that this was barely edible and ended up throwing most of it in the garbage. The food had an unpleasant weird smell, especially the pasta salad, the same smell that was also permuating the restaurant itself. The meat was dry and didn't feel or taste fresh. I do not recommend eating here. The only positive of my experience here was that the staff was very nice. I literally threw away 50$ by choosing to try this restaurant, dare i day every option is better than this. I have never thrown my meal in the garbage before. I'm concerned that I may be sick with what I did eat. I took the garbage out to make sure the smell of the food would not spread in my house. Very disappointed after reading some of the positive reviews this restaurant...

Edit: I recently returned to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by their improvements. They've clearly taken customer feedback to heart. Putting back my 5 stars.

Original: I had terrible service tonight. I ordered two grillot and they just sent one. When I called to report the issue the reason they gave is that their laptop is not working ok ???? They did not sent the second plate either. I give 1 star because te reimbursed what they have not sent. I'm never ordering form that place again. It's so frustrating! I recommend to avoid ordering from this place...

My family and I ordered some take out (various combo plates) and unfortunately the pasta salad in all of our plates was completely off, it smelled and tasted like it turned. The meat , the pizkliz and the plantain was really good and the rice was okay. We called to let them know about the pasta salad in case they were not aware and got some push back and no solutions. They let us know it was made yesterday and during the call the person apparently tasted it and it was fine. We were disappointed with the respond since none of us could eat the pasta salad...
