Gabriel Pizza — Restaurant in Gatineau

If there was an option for 0 stars, I would have choosen it! Placed an order for pick up. I get to the store and the cook came out of the back smelling like a dirty ashtray. The smell was so strong, I was able to smell it off of the cook from across the counter! I paid for my order and went home. After getting home, I opened the pizza box and took one bite. THE PIZZA ITSELF HAD THE SAME SMELL AS THE COOK. THE PIZZA SMELLED LIKE AN ASHTRAY!!!! I WASNT EVEN ABLE TO TAKE ANOTHER BITE. IT WAS DISGUSTING!! NOT SURE IF THE COOK HIMSELF DOESNT WASH HIS HANDS OR IF THEY SMOKE WHILE MAKING THE FOOD, EITHER WAY, I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!!! THIS LOCATION NEEDS AN INSPECTION FROM THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN OR THAT STAFF NEED TO BE FIRED AND A NEW, CLEAN STAFF NEED TO BE HIRED. I am a long time customer Gabriel's, but i would never recommend this location to anyone. Drive the extra 6kms to the ottawa location is...

I’m disappointed for even having to write such a bad review. Initially, this place was awesome. My order was always made super fast, quality ingredients and tasted amazing. Since then, the quality of the pizza has gone down significantly. My order has been incorrect quite a few times but what is more frustrating is how poorly the pizza is made. There is one particular worker that does not know how to make pizzas whatsoever. You know exactly which employee made it when you open the box and all you notice is how there are huge air bubbles all over the pizza, there’s hardly any cheese, the ingredients look like they’ve been tossed on in a hurry and the order is usually wrong. I guess I’ll have to find a new pizza place....

Love it about 98% of the time, honestly!!!!! BUT!.... tonight, NOV 17, whoever was working in the kitchen making pizza, didn't know the difference between Salami & Italian Sausage! It doesn't even look the same what so ever! So tonight, while making a compromise with my hubby for salami instead of pepperoni... (I'm not a fan of cured meats, but salami is milder, but even less sausage) To our surprise, we got little balls of sausage on to of our pizza?! WTH? You were at the cusp of closing when when he passed by, and then he didn't check the pizza before leaving... as if he should need to?! NO! He should not need to!

Anywho, trust me, he's passing by tomorrow after work with pic for some type of refund...
