Pho Vietnamien Restaurant — Restaurant in Gatineau

I love Pho Vietnamien and have ordered from them many times! This review isn't about their food, but about the delivery service.

The last two times I've ordered have been disastrous regarding delivery. The first time the order was never picked up by the driver (after 1.5 hours). I ended up having to go pick up the food myself. The restaurant was kind enough to make me all fresh food so I didn't have to take home food that had been sitting for a long time (thank you!). It was a frustrating experience but they apologized.

Tonight after having a difficult hospital visit, I ordered some food for delivery. Again, it's been almost 1.5 hours, the driver changed multiple times according to my tracking. My food just arrived and it's cold and clearly been sitting for a long time. After spending $80 on food for my family, and after a difficult day, this was really upsetting.

You have great food, and you're my go-to Vietnamese restaurant, but I wish you'd find another delivery solution. Maybe an in-house delivery option?

Where possible we'll opt for pick-up from now on, but that's not always an option with two kids, so I'll have to start ordering elsewhere when pick-up is...

If i go could give zero I would 30$ worth of food in the trash I ordered a plate of meat pork beef and chicken... I received 3 slices of chicken something that looks like the bottom of my show for beef (couldn't even chew it) and no pork

It's was jelly on my salad as sauce and my pho broth smell like it was made 1 month ago.

I asked for egg noodles and received rice noodle.

When I called to complain the lady was screaming and arguing I couldn't even place a damn word . I work in restauration and this is from far the worst customer service I ever received.

Claiming that I was wrong because she did my plates I had to take pictures that I will post as well.

She started laughing at me on the phone and I couldn't do anything else beside hang up on her.

I'm currently with skipthedishes customer services to complain..

Very good considering the area. I've been spoiled with choice in other cities. So I'm a little picky. I like the flavour of the pho broth. It comes with all the fixings! The scallops dish not great, super pricey and scallops cut into pieces! We had an issue with another dish.... when I called the restaurant Thoa was very friendly. She offered a free replacement dish on my next order. I went through a delivery service so was skeptical that I would be credited... but she said to call once I've placed my next order and she will add my free meal. Overall would recommend.

EDIT a month later (my next order): Thoa is a woman of her word! I have placed an order and received my replacement meal. Crispy beef noodles. They're delicious as are the cold rolls and pho. Food is great, customer service is fantastic. I highly recommend this...
