From the order placed over the telephone to the last bite we ate, Lucky Inn was a fantastic experience. Both the person taking the order and the guy delivering our food were kind and courteous. We ordered a Dinner for 2: Chicken balls: GREAT! Good amount of chicken versus dough. Nothing to say against the red sauce too! AND, they gave us 14 in total. My bf says that usually, you can expect to get 12 so they are not cheap with the quantities! Chicken Fried Rice: Amazing and kind of fluffy! One of the best I’ve had in a long time! I have always been leary of chinese food restaurants on the Gatineau side from every experience before( mediocre to horrible), BUT.....Lucky Inn has FOREVER DISPELLED my reluctance. They are hands-down THE BEST chinese food restaurant in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Everything tasted fresh, veggies were not over cooked, egg rolls were perfect(I ate 4 when I usually eat 1), they understand that "vegetables" doesn't just mean onions and green peppers (gross). Edit:A hidden gem for Chinese food. Everything is made fresh and it is run by family. You receive excellent Service from the lady(Emily) at the front of the house . There is a new person helping out on the weekends, Adam, and he is splendid as well the atmosphere is normal, it does have about 30 seats inside but it is very busy on the take out venue. The home made egg rolls and sauce stands above any others I have had. Oh and the wontons mmmmgood👍👍👍 keep it up.
