I am a loyal Tim Hortons customer for over 25 years. The past couple years have been consistently disappointing. The quality of service has gone south, and there seems no end in sight. It was noon on a weekday and I had to wait almost 20 minutes for a coffee and a well toasted bagel with cheese. Did I mention my bagel was charred so badly it could have passed as a chunk of charcoal?
Not only was the staff here ALL too laid back, they seemed completely disorganised (lack of management? Lack of training? Who knows) I am on the road most of the time and this is another pattern I have noticed throughout many Tim Hortons.
Forcefully, McD's and Starbucks are slowly becoming my new go-to place for coffee and a quick bite. Price wise, Tim Hortons coffee has now caught up and I never thought I would be saying this but McD's breakfast food has actually surpassed Tim Hortons quality. At least that has been my experience.
I know I won't change much by complaining as the bottom line is what companies respect most these days. However, if no one from upper management takes initiative to take care of their clients first, your clients will ultimately affect your bottom line by taking their business elsewhere.

I ask in French that I want a large green tea and an iced pumpkin spice latte. I get my iced latte too quick, so I took a sip and tasted no coffee inside. Once I tried ordering in person, people over there had had time understanding if I need 12 grain bagel, then I had to explain them many ways I need with butter and toasted. Next time, I place the order using app, but for some reason I selected wrong tim hortons, I talked to manager and he couldn't do anything about it, I understand my mistake, so I placed new order. Today, I place order again using the app, when I reached there, my order was not on the pick up location. 5 mins later one of them realized and brought my order and asked me to come to the counter and she said they have no order for that bagel. I showed them order confirmation from my app, and she said, "ok take it" in very un-trusting manner. I lost my hunger and left the location without my order.
