A ridiculous experience.
We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come over and went to ask the hostess when nobody came. The waitress saw us and confronted us at our table, making the 5 of us extremely uncomfortable. She made excuses even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
We ordered some smoothies and, when she arrived with the wrong ones, she lied and told us they were a different flavor. We asked three times for some water and received none.
We ended up having to flag down the bus boy a half a dozen times for condiments, coffee, water and milk. FYI, that's NOT his job. Our food, when it arrived, was cold.
We'd had enough and went to ask the hostess to see a manager. We were told we had to wait until we had paid, so we did. Our waitress saw us do this and again, came to our table and confronted us.
We overheard her telling another waitress we were clearly high or drunk. It was noon and we are 5 adults coming in for a cup of coffee before work.
She hid our receipts underneath a tray and we had to get up and make to leave before she'd let us pay. When the manager finally came over, she told us we should have asked for her before we paid. She clearly did not care we'd had a terrible experience.
I've never left a complaint at a restaurant but this was unbelievable.

My husband took his last sip of coffee and all it was was coffee grinds. The last few centimeters of his cup (once we emptied the rest of the liquid into mine)was pure grinds. It almost made him throw up (which doesnt happen often). When we talked to the waitress she let us know that her boss took 10% off the bill. Her boss never came to see us to apologize or anything. Very disrespectful if you ask me. 10% off (what came out to the price of our coffee that was included in the meal price) is not enough to make us go back there, which we told them upon leaving. Read moreI usually give grace to people in the food service industry (e.g., restaurant servers, waiters, waitresses and so on). I understand that they work hard and diligently to deliver to customers. But given my recent experience at this place, I had to write this review hoping it will help them improve:
So here we go:
I used to enjoy eating here. But my last two experience have been a bit off. They need to improve in the following areas:
Pay attention to customers. I tried getting the waitress' attention to ask about a few items missing from our order but i was unsuccessful. Also, I did not get coffee refill.
We ordered bread but it did not come with our order. I literally had to call another waitress half way through our breakfast to get the bread.
