Booster Juice — Restaurant in Georgina

I order from Booster Juice several times a week. I either use Door Dash or go into a store if I drive by. When I order through Door Dash, my juice comes from Keswick on Dovedale. I always order a Green Hornet and my friend gets the orange juice with added carrot. Sometimes, there may be a variation in taste but nothing significant and it always tastes good. Today while we were drinking our juice, we both made “yuck” sounds at the same time. My green hornet tasted like super, sweet carrot juice and was bright orange. Sediment could be seen floating in the cup. I couldn’t drink it. My friend drank hers but there was an inch of orange sludge left afterward. It wasn’t pulp but carrot sludge. I phoned Booster Juice and the first woman I spoke to was argumentative and told me that it was impossible. I told her I could send pictures but she said there was only a land line. She told me the carrots were fresh and she had followed the recipe exactly. I asked if the juice machine might have been clogged as the sediment looked like the stuff you throw out after juicing the vegetables. She said that they had cleaned the machine just before making the juice. She had no interest in my experience, or that despite being a very regular customer that my juice looked and tasted “off.” She only cared about being right. Came in to get a quick smoothie, ended up waiting 15 MINUTES to even have my order taken (there was only one person in front of me). The place seemed to be severely understaffed (there was one worker up front)

Online orders were taken priority over in-person as I had to wait for several online orders to be made before the worker even acknowledged my presence.

After my order was in progress two more workers with no care in the world came from the back. One not in uniform but in a green t-shirt and a messy bun seemed to be severely HUNG OVER and FIXING HERSELF A DRINK!?! as the place was now packed with people waiting to have their orders taken.

Smoothie was good as always but not good enough to make up for the customer service, common courtesy and time management that lacked TREMENDOUSLY!!!

Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money at...

I walked in to the young girl on her phone in the back. Then asked for a celery juice where she stated the juicer hadn’t been washed and there’s beets in it. I told her I would wait for it to be washed. She then told me she has other orders to do and that I’d have to wait for her to complete those orders (mind you, no one else was in the store) and then wash the juicer so I asked her how long it would take and she told me she doesn’t want to give me a time and be wrong about it being done. She basically sent a customer away because she’d rather sit on her phone than wash the juicer. Very disappointed that I have to drive to Newmarket. It’s more beneficial at this point to just buy my own juicer and not give these people...
