La Table à Mo — Restaurant in Granby

La Table À Mo is quite a small restaurant and seems packed with regulars. The lunch menu was quite confusing. It basically was about a dozen different and very various choices all told aloud by the waitress. Obviously after the 2-3 first descriptions, you don't really remember nor hear anything so we kind of had to choose randomly. We ended up with Lamb and a Trout Tartare. Both of them were delicious and quite complex. The dishes looked nice with a lot of ingredients and colorful plating. On the booze side it was way sadder. I didn't order anything as the choices of wine or cocktails was basically nothing. All the spotlight is put on the food.

Honnêtement, je ne comprends pas comment ce restaurant peut avoir autant de bons commentaires. J’ai été extrêmement déçu. Ce restaurant est une petite place avec la cuisine à aire ouverte. Le décor est assez bien fait et les détails y sont. Par contre… Nous avons été assis a notre table, 20 minutes avant de recevoir de l’eau. Nous avons commandé des cocktails et peut après nos entrées. Les entrées ont prises 1 heure à arriver. Ce qui selon moi était assez anormal. La terrine de foie gras était posée sur un pain très dure, difficile à couper avec un couteau à steak. Même chose que la focaccia avec la burrata. Du pain pas frais du tout. Nous en avons parler à la serveuse, nous disant qu’elle allait faire le message au chef, aucun retour par la suite. Les plats principaux étaient aussi décevants. Un pavé de boeuf trop cuit, avec beaucoup de gras sur la pièce. Des carbonaras trop cuites et trop salé, le poisson caoutchouteux… nous avons même retourné une assiette en cuisine. Encore nous passons les commentaires à la serveuse. Aucun retour d’un responsable ou même du chef en charge du restaurant.
