Caféine & co - rue Principale — Restaurant in Granby

This is the second shop in Granby but the first I visit. It's small and cute in a old very rustic house right on the main street. With the double door, it feels like entering someone's place, maybe like visiting a friend's house. They are very friendly, I was greeted the moment I entered with the most gracious smile from the barista. The seated places are limited and the sockets even more. There's even old plugs that isn't compatible. The sun was shining right through the front window which felt really nice but I could't see my computer. Maybe the places in front of it are not the best suited for someone working on a computer. I ordered a Macchiato which I enjoyed. The cup was warmed up and felt so good during the very cold, freezing day. There was all kinds of treats on the counter, cookies, brownies and stuff which all seemed so decadent and delicious. I believe they are homemade. They also have paninis, soups and stuff. I will definitely go back to try them as the place smelled amazing the whole time I was there.

This gorgeous modern Parisian cafe’ was a little out of the way (heading to Lac Megantic) much to my husband’s dismay. Our barista was fluent in English although she did entertain me when I spoke en francais. Her sweet smile and tenderness with my 8-year-old was appreciated. We ordered iced whole milk lattes and the espresso was excellent. Just the right amount of ice and milk on this scorcher of a day. Their gluten free options are a bit slim but the raspberry custard croissant made my daughter and husband very happy. I will definitely take the time to get to this lovely place on the way back! Sorry, we ate the croissant too fast...

Great coffee shop, very cute and nicely decorated in Granby. We were heading to Starbucks, and then we decided to make the extra effort to go a little bit further. we were so happy to find this place. we really liked the decoration inside the variety of treats, the clean facilities, and the really nicely decorated seating area. The staff was very attentive and prepare our order very quickly. It feels more homey and cosy in comparison to the generic feel when you get inside a Starbucks or Tim Hortons . Great scone and...
