Sandy's Place — Restaurant in Grand Falls

Stopped on our way through for a really Late lunch. Chose it over fast food because of reviews. Not disappointed! Huge portion of poutine with so much cheese! So good! Sadly couldn’t eat half of it. Had a garden salad which I also didn’t eat all of but took with me! Hamburger was delicious! All home made food. Young women working were so nice! We sat and ate at one of the tables. The place was spotless as was the bathroom. Would make a detour to eat here...

Great quick stop for food. There are many options besides poutin. Clean bathroom and very large gravel parking lot if you have a large vehicle or RV. Food was decent diner food. Lots of treats and candy for the kids. Great location off the transcanada, close to the superstore and Walmart. Large eating area outside so great if you have a dog. Huge cheesecake menu as well...which was tempting but portions of the meals are large, so...

Had pancakes for breakfast here. They were good, but didn’t come with enough butter or syrup. The coffee was lukewarm. I asked for a glass of water and was told that due to licensing , they were not allowed to serve tap water. I checked and as far as I could tell from New Brunswick regulation 88-200, there is no such rule. It’s possible that they do not have potable water, but that is not the same thing so why not...
