The best bakery I’ve ever been to, my boyfriend and I come from Calgary to Grand Forks just for Pascale’s. We have come back every year for 3 years when we are in the area but this time we came out for some good food from Pascale’s and some fresh milk. I was going to write a long review to explain how good this place is but the pictures really speak for themselves. The food is amazing, the breakfasts are good but they have sheet pan eggs so it’s not my favourite but they use such good ingredients so if you like sheet eggs the breakfast is perfect. My bf got the Rito Raven wrap before but they changed it to a bowl but they were so kind in being able to put it in a wrap when we asked even though they didn’t need too. Their drinks are delicious as well, I’m not sure what her name is but one of the girls does the prettiest latte art and she makes such amazing drinks. The lemonade is sooooooo good, I love lemonade and I would buy it by the litre! The espresso drinks are delicious, my non coffee drinking bf steals my drinks and the matcha is delicious. Anything bakery they do it so well. I’ve been to so many different bakery’s around BC and Alberta but nothing compares to Pascale’s. The croissants are the BEST I’ve ever had. I try some at different bakery’s but nothing compares to Pascale’s I brought back half a dozen. The bakers in the back work magic. Come on, are these not the prettiest bakery items...
Read moreWe were so excited to see another place opening in town. Food is tasty BUT the prices (!!!!!) ouch! Pastries have no prices, to me that should have been a red flag, waiting in line then having to ask every price in the item you are interested and after all you feel bad for not buying treats or only one because it's so expensive. Staff was on cell phone before paying attention to customer. For it having an in-house bakery why is there not a single GF bread option for their lunch or breakfast items? (Corn flour /rice or oat flour...... Those grains are not more than wheat flour.) I don't understand it how this town is so hard to have any GF options for a price range that doesn't max out your budget for a family of 4 eating out for lunch. Coffee is delicious! Americano is a...
Read moreWell, that was disappointing. I've been to Pascael's at her first location in Grand Forks, it was such a good experience on every level I looked forward to popping in on my way through again. Her baking is still amazing, although the service I just received was terrible. The 2 young girls working the front were not knowledgeable about the items they were selling. Most things were not marked so I had to ask. This was clearly an inconvenience to them. I placed my order, paid and then had to ask the girl for my pastries as she forgot to give them to me. The rolling of the eyes and the attitude of inconveniencing her was palpable. All I can suggest is ensure you hire staff who have better manners, less entitlement and are happy to do their customer...
