Asked by "owner" for details since I only gave 2-star rating. So, here it is: went to Boston Pizza with our Daughter & Family while visiting Grande Prairie, and upon my Daughter receiving her NY Steak Sandwich, was quite surprised to see that instead of the steak sliced thinly and piled onto the open face sandwich, somewhat like "Philly Sandwich" Style, it was the whole "chunk" of steak sitting on the bread. Nothing else. When our server came to our table to check on us, and Daughter questioned the server about her sandwich, the server told her (and I quote) "We discussed that when you ordered it." Wow! No "I'm sorry" or "How can I make this right" or anything close to an "appeasing" comment...just direct placing blame on our Daughter. While the server was correct, they "had discussed" it, obviously the misconception of "it" led to Daughter's inquiries. Some compassion would've gone a long way. Instead, the server had insulted Daughter's intelligence. So, it then escalated to asking to speak with the Manager, who DID show compassion...Daughter only asked for a bit of lettuce, tomato & mayo to "dress it up" just a bit, which was exactly what he'd have asked from the server if server didn't immediately insult Daughter. Long story short, our server really needs to understand how to have compassion with customers. If she hit us with attitude, I'm willing to bet she has done, and will continue to do, the same to others. Now "owners", you've gotten my input....
Read moreI haven't been to this location in quite some time. I try to avoid it as it's always a terrible experience.
When my wife and I entered, we were not greeted, we stood awkwardly at the front desk until a young woman looked up at us, rolled her eyes and said she would help us get seated. But then proceeded to walk into the back area, maybe the kitchen ?
Eventually someone else seated us. She was no better. They looked like they hated their jobs as they had only one expression on their faces and it wasn't very pleasant.
Our waitress Grace was by far top notch. She was attentive, had a smile and bubbly personality. This is the kind of kind person we look forward to dealing with on any occasion. Honestly She deserves a raise.
Unfortunately we were give a stack of dirty plates. So we were given a knew stack that was worse. They were covered in dirty dish water and ranch dressing. As if the washer just dipped them in the sink and then handed them back.
I also had a to return my ceasar as it was so watered down that all I could taste was the ice in the glass.
Lastly the place was a mess, like a bomb went off. Glitter, crayons, food and napkins scattered the floors. One couple came in and stated they wouldn't even sit near there as it was that bad. But no one bothered to clean...
Read moreAfter receiving my delivery order I realized I was missing an item and called to let the North side Boston pizza know. I spoke to a host who said I could have a store credit or refund. I requested a refund and she went to get her manager. The manager asked if I would prefer to have the missing item delivered which I agreed to. The item was never delivered and I called again in the morning to get a refund, the morning manager let me know she didn't have the ability to authorize the refund and would call back when another manager was in. I didn't received a call back so I called again around dinner time and after explaining a situation to the host she went to get the manager (who was the same one I spoke to yesterday evening). I was greeted with her picking up the phone and aggressively saying "So you're looking for a refund?". I explained the situation to her again and she said I could only have a store credit. After letting her know I was offered and agreed to a refund she put me on hold, then came back to let me know I can only have a refund in cash and I would have to come and get it myself.
