I bought a Tim Horton's gift card at this location. A couple of months ago and they gladly took my money, no problem. A gift card was for a $100. I don't come to Tim Horton's much anymore. Because the service has gone way downhill and because of a certain. Person who used to be in office who likes to take vacations in Hawaii owns a bunch of locations which really turned me off. Well, I still had the $100 gift card and it is one of my kids birthdays so I thought I would get some drinks and then maybe a $50 gift card for his birthday as I did not want to give him a used gift card or 1 that has been in my wallet forever and not the Best of shape. Well, apparently their policy is You cannot buy a gift card for another gift card. They would not even let me switch it out for two 50$ cards. They told me my gift card was NOT the same as cash. They did tell me it is not their fault. It is head office policy which that is fine. I still figured they could have at least gave me two $50 cards. I tried transferring the card onto my app multiple times and it says i'm able to transfer at this time for some reason. He told me. I could go park and come into the store but I wasn't wasting my time. First time I've been to that location in probably 2 or 3 months. And definitely the last time I will ever go into that location. Tim Hortons has gone way downhill over the last 10 years. And doesn't look like they wis get better anytime soon. Too many options to choose from going to look for a nice local coffee shop that I...
Read moreThis use to be my favorite Tim Hortons in town to go to but the staff are so pushy in the drive through. You can barely open the Tim's app with out them shoving the debt machine in your face. The other day I said "one second please" while I pulled out my card. The staff member tapped on the windows with the machine in displease several times. I tapped my card he pushed my drink and food at me and closed the door. I pulled away and happened to look in the rear view mirror and see the machine waving around out the window. I pulled into the parking lot checked my account and seen it wasn't charged. So I then pulled up to park infront of the doors to go in and pay as there must have been an error. It has happened before where it did not go through properly and I have had to tap my card again(when the server actually payed attention and did not rush.) As I'm opening my door to get out to go inside buddy rushes out and yells "you didn't pay you have to pay" I yelled back at him "maybe if you would have slowed down and taken the time you would have realized there was a macine error" So I had to drag in my three year old autistic son in to pay. The whole reason I went through the drive-through is so that I wouldn't have to go in because I knew my son would have a meltdown as soon as we...
Read moreUpdate: tried making a mobile order for pick thru the app and see if their service was any more quicker. After 30 mins with no wedges in hand or on the pick up counter, i finally had to ask where my order was. Also raised a conplaint and a service ticket on the app. I figure someone has to know about this garbage service.
Made the mistake of coming to this location after a year. Was hoping service would be better, but service has only declined. Staff is completely unprofessional and 6 staff working the drive thru line with only several cars waiting. Waited inside in the line for so long, and I kept trying to get thier attention subtly. After another several minutes pass by and to no avail, I finally had to ask if there was anyone at all manning the tills in the front as I looked at all 6 staff. Horrendous service. And of course as always, the staff are so stingy with the condiments, I asked for one honey in my tea, and it seems that a drop of honey is enough to count. Dont usually like reviewing good franchises horrible reviews but hopefully something gets done about the...
