Now that my favorite place in town is closed I'm shopping for a new favorite Chinese restaurant. I would go back for the wanton soup. The broth had an amazing peppery flavour and the wanton itself was very tasty, I didn't ask but I think it might have been beef. The lemon chicken was nice, much better than other places I've been, but so far no one has come close to my old favorite spot. The sweet and sour pork batter was a little over done. The portions are large, younger me would have been happy with it, older me gets two meals out of it. With tip included it was just over $20.00/person. The waitress was nice.

Was pretty good! We ordered the 3 person combo dinner, I substituted the fried rice for chicken chow mein and added on almond chicken. Food was really good, the chow mein noodles were really skinny. (There was a container of gravy in our order for some weird reason?) Huge portions, prices are the same as all the other chinese places-haha! I am not from Grande Prairie and got it delivered to where I was staying, would defenitly recommend and order again on my next visit!

Used to order from here lots, it’s cheap and portions are insane, but it’s cheap which means it’s pretty bad lol We ordered for the first time in 2 years and it has gone real downhill. Even more downhill than I remember which is too bad. Ginger beef is a strange texture and doesn’t hold the batter it’s practically inedible. One positive is the wontons are still delicious, but Probably won’t order again for another 2 years.

In a word, TERRIBLE!!

Sweet n sour boneless pork 1/10 batter half crispy / half mush! Parts of meat not coated so the deep frier burned some meat while other parts were undercooked, through it put!!

Ginger beef 2/10, complete mush!! The flavor was acceptable but all the batter had melted off the meat, half in transit and half in the frier! All the meat had chuncks where the oil burned it and the parts that were not exposed in the frier disintegrated into a gelatinous mess!! Couldn't eat it!

Beef and broccoli 6/10 The only saving grace this meal had!!! Still not anything to get excited about, the broccoli was at least still crunchy and the meat was cooked completely, the flavor was acceptable, and it would have got better marks had they even bothered to add the tiniest bit of corn starch so that the sauce would have stuck to the ingredients!!

House Fried rice 4/10, bland, basic, tails still on shrimp

Chicken chow main 4/10, undercooked, bland

This meal was completely unexpectetable!!! For $85 dollars for 5 plates you would think they would have a modicum of bride!!

I will never eat there again, and i suggest you save...

I always praised this restaurant for their great tasting food. But not this time. I and 4 other faithful custumers waited almost a hour longer than the 1/2 hour qouted on the phone. There was expressive shouting and pan hitting while I waited. Little to no apologies given to the wait by the front end employee. I wanted to order a pop while I waited but employee kept disappearing in back. The lady I was in discussion with waited a hour for a single combination. Instead of bagging my dinner for 5, I was given a large box and in the ride home to Valleyview the containers kept opening, spilling the food. The shrimp was way over cooked and the beef n veggies had a sour smell to it. The dogs enjoyed the 2 dishes. Little sympathy was given to our wait. In a time when small buisiness are closing, I dont see how long they can keep repeat and valued custumers. A true apology or discount like I requested... But never recieved, would have kept me a customer.

So I will NOT be endorsing, but rather, the opposite. To all my...

I was tired after a long drive and decided to order food from this restaurant. I initially tried using Skip, but the estimated wait time was an hour. Since the restaurant was only 8 minutes away from my hotel, I called in at 11:20 PM to place a pickup order. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes.

To give them enough time, I arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes later thinking an extra 5 minute buffer would be more than enough. However, when I got there, I noticed the staff member had just started preparing my order. I didn’t say anything and waited as he asked me to give it another 10 minutes.

After 10 min waiting again i have to wai5 for another 10 or mins coz the food still wasn’t ready, and he casually told me I could cancel the order if I wanted. Holy moly! I ended up canceling, and honestly, I’m glad I did. The atmosphere wasn’t appealing, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from...
