I go to this dairy Queen often and always order the same thing which is two large blizzards occasionally a medium one but I always ask for them to well blend it or mix it half ways through yet 90 percent of the the time I get a blizzard that's 2/3 or more of pure vanilla ice cream at the bottom which means it's cleary not blended. I have to take my blizzard home and mix it myself in a bowl which limits the flavor since there should have been more however it appears fine since the top 1/4 of the blizzard is actually blended and sitting on top of the vanilla. I went in several months ago and reported this and was given replacement blizzards and figured now they were well aware of the issue I wouldn't have any problems however it continues to happen. I've order approximately 6-10 blizzards this month and only 1 of them was mixed correctly and I always ask for them to be well blended. Yesterday I ordered two large well blended blizzards got home and of course not well blended so I took pictures and went back to Dairy Queen this evening explained the situation again and the employee was extremely rude and insisted that if I wanted new blizzards I would have to pay for them because I should have been asking for my blizzards to be well blended and I complained about this same issue several months ago and was given a free blizzard then. I was like well ya and you still havent gotten it right. She told me if I wasn't going to pay then I couldn't have my blizzards and I told her that's fine Im not paying for something I can't be sure is even going to made property and that I'll be posting a review instead. She gave me a very snarky remark of go ahead. Read moreI have always bought my blizzard at this store at least twice a week from drive thru, and decided to walk into the store this time. I went into the store to buy ice cream, only for me to stand there for over 10mins and no one even said hello or acknowledged that I was there. There were at least 5 people in the store with two working towards drive thru window and two at the meal prep station. One of the workers walked right in front of me twice and came back the third time and picked a mop and ignored me with a frown and started mopping the floor. It was about an hour to closing and I was the only one standing at the counter, and other customers were sitting down, talking and having their meal. After waiting for 10-15 mins with no acknowledgement from the workers, I walked away disappointed and never coming back. At least a hello, I will be right with you would have been better. Read moreThe food is amazing. The quality of service is wonderful. The staff are attentive and kind. The challenge is the receipts are crazy. Have a look and see if you can figure it out. Discounts aren’t shown, discounts are not taken at the rate at which one would expect and the user friendliness of the receipt is actually bad.
This should be addressed. I’m sure most people don’t care about this kind of stuff, but some do. Was it fair? Not sure. It was as advertised, just in favour of the franchise not the consumer. That is to be expected though.
