Art Gallery of Grande Prairie — Attraction in Grande Prairie

My son and I have been coming to the Art Gallery since he was born. The curator does an absolutely amazing job of making the space accessible to everyone. We always feel welcome; sometimes when your a mom with a little human spaces with “breakables” seem out of reach and not welcoming. It’s the opposite here. The green room upstairs allows children to create their own work of mirroring the work displayed in the gallery. It’s honestly just a fantastic FREE space. Very expansive art gallery with many exhibits that are constantly changing. The rotation of the displays offers many local artists an opportunity to showcase their work, and its very interesting to see what they have each time I go there. Besides just having a large quantity of displays, there is also a large amount of variation and different media. The upstairs level(s) are elevator accessible and most exhibits are kid friendly.
