McDonald's — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

If I could I wouldn’t even give it one star. The staff and I mean every one of them are ignorant judgmental and rude to people they think are homeless. It’s march 31st 2025 and I came in to have supper with a friend, I asked to use the bathroom and had to (use the bathroom) if you know what I mean, I wasn’t even in there for five minutes and a staff member came in and told me I had to leave, I told her I what I was doing so she went and got security, security came and told me he was calling the cops on me because I was taking to long. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m sure most of you have had a bathroom break take longer then 3 minutes when your not just peeing. I’m standing here right now waiting for the cops to get here so I can tell them to look at the cameras and see how long I was actually in there for and hopefully have them fired. Just because we live in grande prairie doesn’t mean people can treat other people like they are better then them and throw them out of places just because they think they are homeless,if anything they should treat them with more respect because one day them homeless...

I thought the renos were going to be an upgrade. Not so much. It feels like an airport. In addition, THEY pour your drink for you now. Why? One of the best things about McDonald's was that you could put exactly how much ice etc you liked and now you have to rely on someone who's doing 100 other things.

And I don't know what happened to your drive thru but it's become embarrassing, when it used to be fast and efficient. I spent nearly ten minutes in it this morning, the second time this week I've had such a wait. Very inconvenient, especially during the rush when everyone is trying to get to work. I waited at the speaker for several minutes, and my order was never taken while people on the other side were being served. I ended up having to pull ahead to the window and then wait for the guy to take someone else's order first.
