I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Tim Hortons drive-thru today around 1730hrs. The employee at the speaker was unprofessional, barely communicative, and responded to my order as she was half asleep and a dismissive attitude. When I pulled up to the window, there was no greeting—just a cold, “2 iced coffee” before the window was slammed shut in my face.
One of the drinks had regular ice despite my clear request for less ice. When I politely pointed this out, the staff member slammed the window without a word and returned with a same drink but with less ice this time —no apology, no courtesy.
As someone who has worked in the food industry, I understand the challenges, but there’s no excuse for this kind of behavior. If an employee is unhappy in their role, it should never be taken out on customers. This location is convenient for me, but I’ve experienced similar service issues before. It’s disappointing to see no improvement. I think it’s a high time I should start going somewhere else.
Tim Hortons needs to address this kind of customer service seriously. Basic courtesy and professionalism should be the minimum standard. I drove up to the drive through on my electric scooter. I was told they would not serve me and to come inside because driving my electric scooter through the drive thru is not safe. I stated how my scooter has brake lights and headlights. And the fact that there is no bike stand outside to lock my scooter up to.
Six staff members looked at me and shook their head in shame at me and the lady serving me was very rude. She did not tell me to speak to a supervisor or manager or to address the issue to anyone higher up or that she would pass on my concern.
I told them I will have to leave a them a Google review in regards to this manner and she said go ahead, again in no attempt to help with this issue.
This is absolutely a horrible experience. And when no other staff member would help, it blows my mind how bad your customer experience at Tim...

Like others have mentioned the wait time for walking in is ridiculous and they just keep you standing there without even acknowledging you. Then when they do there’s clearly a language barrier on their end and instead of asking you to repeat yourself your talked down to as if you can’t speak English properly…clearly management isn’t doing a good job seeing how I’m not the only one with this problem and it’s STILL a problem. Then after waiting nearly 15 mins for a bagel it comes with barely any cream cheese on it…the pictures from other reviews showing scrapped off cream cheese is the same thing I got. Tim’s can be a hit or miss, I understand that, but how these workers are talking down to people is disgusting.
