Not sure how they get 4.1 stars. The last few times we’ve gone to this restaurant we’ve had absolutely horrible customer service - waiting 45 minutes for a pop is absolutely ridiculous especially when there’s only a small handful of tables (and not the only server on the floor either) in the restaurant let alone 25 minutes for the server to even come and take our drink orders/present herself to the table the first time to begin with. Food hasn’t been that great either, cold fries, hair in my food, along with a wide variety of other issues and not even an apology or to try to make things right/better. Tonight was the last straw though, I went in to get something to eat and I waited 20 minutes at the door waiting to be seated (the sign says to please wait to be seated) and 2 servers walked by me and didn’t even acknowledge my presence at the door even when I said hello to which I just turned around and walked out. We went for our son's 9th birthday.

The waitress professional from self introduction as well introduced the trainee. The waitress was very interactive and patient with our son and encouraged him to order. He is on the Autistic spectrum, and seeing a waitress take their with him was amazing.

Music sound level was good as well the music choice suited the atmosphere.

The restaurant was clean and well kept.

The food:

My husband had the seafood pasta. He echoed it and ate the entire dish.

Birthday day, boy had the kids hamburg and fries, and for desert, he got to have an oreo cake slice. The witnesses even sang him happy birthday, which you don't see at restaurants anymore.

My other son had the kids' portion pasta Alfredo and garlic bread.

I had the lunch trio. Italian wedding soup and sandwich. It was delicious.

Reasonably priced too.

Absolutely terrible. We've lived in Chelmsford for 10 years now and have never tried Cousin Vinny's. Last night we wanted to switch it up so we figured we would order through delivery. The food was terrible. There was a hair in my salad. We ordered the cream cheese dip, chicken burger and seafood linguine. The dip was tasteless, basically warm cream cheese with cheese and bacon on it. The Chicken burger was overcooked and dry. The seafood linguine has left me feeling ill all night and still into the morning. Asked for bacon on my garlic bread thinking it already came with cheese... nope, bacon bits rolling off of over toasted garlic bread is what I got. The best part was the cookie and cream and turtle dessert we got.... pretty sure thats not made in house....we will never order, or go to Cousin Vinny's again.. we will stick to our other favorite...
