Harvey's — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

Once upon a time, in the mundane monotony of my daily life, I wandered into Harvey’s, expecting nothing more than a quick bite to satiate my rumbling stomach. Little did I know that what awaited me was not just a burger, but a life-altering experience it would forever change the course of my existence.

As I unwrapped my burger, with trembling hands, I took my first bite. Suddenly, the clouds parted, and a chorus of angels began to sing. My taste buds, previously accustomed to the drudgery of mediocre meals, were awakened as if they had been kissed by the very essence of flavor itself.

This wasn’t just any burger. No, my friends, this was a portal to a parallel universe where joy is measured in bites and each condiment is a carefully chosen note in the symphony of taste. The crispy lettuce crunched like the first autumn leaves underfoot, the juicy tomato exploded like a summer sunrise, and the patty—oh, the patty!—was so tender, so flavorful, it could only be described as a meaty masterpiece.

As I devoured this otherworldly creation, I felt a surge of inspiration. Suddenly, I could solve complex math problems, speak fluent French, and had the urge to adopt a puppy and name it “Harvey Jr.” I began to see the world in vibrant colors, and I swear I could hear the faint echo of...

I usually choose fast food as that..fast..drive thru window...however last night i visited Harvey's because I had a coupon .. As a family member in the restaurant business forever... I was beyond blown away by the service ..the staff were all amazing..happy ..team players as far as I saw and so impressionable.. I was greeted at the cash by a young gentleman who had amazing professional banter and courteousness I have never witnessed in many years as fast as fast food ...I unfortunately didnt get his name because I didnt look at his name tag..but he was someone I would want working for my family's business. Friendly ..courteous and way beyond exceptional service . I did notice the employee who made my burgers and again she was so enjoying her job it made my night .. Her name was Jenna and she was a lovely young lady ..seemed to be happier serving me than I couldve ever imagined a young person would be at 8 pm nowadays ....I havent ever felt the need to write a thank you for service in this industry because its not rarely enjoyable..however..I would and will go back to Harveys just for the great employees and service..KUDDOS to management...

I visited Harveys Restaurant for a quick lunch yesterday with a friend. Despite the restaurant not being busy, my experience was far from satisfactory.

My friend and I each ordered a poutine, and while our order was prepared quickly, the quality of the food was disappointing. The fries were only lukewarm, and the gravy was cold. Poutine is a dish that should be served hot, with the cheese melting into the hot gravy, but this was not the case. Despite my hunger and time constraints, I ate the lukewarm fries and cold gravy.

When I informed a staff member in the kitchen about the issue, his reaction was disheartening. He seemed uninterested and annoyed, rather than concerned about the quality of the food being served. Given that the restaurant was not busy, it would have been easy to prepare a fresh batch of fries and ensure the gravy was hot.

Overall, the staff at Harveys Restaurant could have done a much better job in ensuring the food was fresh and served at the correct temperature. This experience was disappointing, especially considering the simplicity of the order and the lack of customers...
