Service was excellent. Orders were taken quickly. Food took a bit of time to prepare which I don't mind usually but I was starving. The restaurant only had one other table during the lunch hour.

We ordered butter chicken, Palak paneer, samosas, plain idly, and also some regular naan.

The butter chicken and Palak paneer came with 2 bowls of basmati rice.

Butter chicken was flavorful. It was a bit spicy. But I would say it was more of a mild spiciness. I did ask for it to be medium. There was exactly 5 pieces of chicken. There was much more gravy/sauce. I would say it honestly tasted similar to KFI butter chicken sauce.

Palak paneer was very creamy and flavorful. It was unlike any other Palak paneer I have had before in the past. It was also medium spicy as well which we asked to be mild. The sauce was excellent though anyways.

Samosas were very good as well. The pastry was the stand out as it was so flaky it was surpsingly fried very well. It had the run of the mill fillings inside with potatoes, spices and some green peas.

The idly way perhaps just not my type of food. It was very airy and fluffy. Was not substantial. Portion seemed very small for what it is. The gravy that accompanied it was very good. Didn't care too much for the coconut chutney.

Naan was good. Fresh and crispy. Soft on the inside.

Overall, the meal was VERY heavy. We only ate about half the curries. Usually when I go to an ayce Indian buffet, I can destroy like 2-3 plates easy. I was stuffed until dinner time and I didn't eat dinner that night. The food is delicious, but it is also...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at J&M Indian Cuisine in Sudbury, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. This restaurant truly deserves its reputation as the best South Indian restaurant in Sudbury.

Firstly, the ambiance is average. However, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional.

Now, onto the food - where do I begin? The biriyani was aromatic and flavorful, cooked to perfection with tender meat and fragrant spices. The Andra chicken was a revelation - bursting with bold spices and rich, savory flavors that left me craving more.

The Chicken 65 was another highlight - perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, mixed with an Andra twist gravy. And, the butter naan was simply divine - soft, pillowy, and generously slathered with butter. It was the ideal vessel for sopping up every last bit of sauce from the dishes.

Last but not least, let's not forget about the mango lassi - a refreshing accompaniment that perfectly complemented the spices of the main dishes.

Overall, my experience at J&M Indian Cuisine was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the food, combined with the warm hospitality of the staff, made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic South Indian cuisine in Sudbury (especially spicy Andra cuisines). I can't wait to return and try more of their...

I recently visited this newly opened Indian restaurant with high hopes of enjoying authentic Indian cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. It is with great regret that I must describe my encounter with the service and food as subpar.

Our anticipation for the meal was swiftly deflated when we were served with food that was clearly frozen. It was difficult to express the disappointment we felt when we discovered that nothing was fresh, and the barbeque and other dishes were served icy cold, as if they had just been taken out of the freezer and forgotten to be heated. When we brought this to the attention of two servers, they agreed with our assessment and promptly took the food back to be microwaved. However, we were left with no choice but to leave without eating, as the food still remained far below average.

Adding insult to injury, when we drew the attention of our server to the issue, she also checked the food and agreed with our assessment. She expressed surprise and promptly went to the kitchen for clarification, but unfortunately, did not return to provide any further...

This restaurant was clean and spacious. Food was very yummy. We had Karapodi Idli and it was very attractive and delicious (forgot to take photo), then we had 2 Street style Masala Dosa and one among them with extra onions which was also tasty but it had a Punjabi touch hence we found it very heavy as Dosa were thick yet crispy like a bit paratha style and Sambar was almost perfect just it had more tangy taste. Peanut chutney was yummy and had perfect liquid consistency. Serving portion was more than enough as it was heavy. Then, I had Masala Chai (Tea) which I didn’t like as it tasted like only Milk Tea and wasn’t like Kadak chai which we find in India on road. I prefer tea with more water and tea content than milk, if you like more milk tea then it was delicious. Overall it was pretty good restaurant and we enjoyed our lunch.
